Have you heard of the “3 date rule”? One of my friends swore by it when she was online dating. The idea is that even if you aren’t feeling it at first you give them up to 3 dates to make it happen. Maybe one date you’re off , maybe another date they are off....if by date 3 it’s still ‘off’ you can walk away and know you really gave it your all. I thought it was an interesting idea. Love the idea but in this day and age there is no way any woman would live by that rule longer than a month. Its now common for women to self identify as having "over 50 bodies" (their terminology not mine) by the time they are are 25. So when you multiple that by 2 to get the real number it doesn't leave much time for "the 3 date rule". That said i totally think its a really great idea for those that can do it, also try to restrict from intimacy till that third date.

When I met my husband I had declared that I was "practice dating" as in I just did whatever I wanted without trying to appear a certain way. If they didn't like it, I'd decided to laugh it off and call it "practice". This mentality lead me to some of the most fun dates of my life and meeting my husband!

Good luck girl 🙌😊 I met my husband on tinder 5 years ago 😊 we went to the zoo at 1pm (that was the only thing we had planned), had coffee, walked in a park, had drinks, dinner, and a last coffee before saying goodbye at 11pm 😍 before him just a few short dull coffee dates, but when I met him I felt it right away and didn't wanna go home 😂 and totally get what you're saying about the skating... Same reason why i choose the zoo date back then... In case it wouldn't click or was boring i could just enjoy looking at the animals... And always met people during the day in very public places 🙌
