    March 16th, 2024. Amtrak Extra #833 was dispatched for testing from New York Penn station to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The train would turn around later after heading back up north to NYP to complete the testing. The leader was HHP-C (or HHP-8) #9750 with a Phase III Amfleet Cafe Car #85999 , Northeast Regional cafe car and ACS-64 #623 at the rear end pushing the train.
    ACS-64 #600 David L. Gunn and ACS-64 #642 Veterans both make their appearance with 600 running a northbound Vermonter while 642 runs a southbound Carolinian. An Amtrak Maintenance of Way locomotives also appears in this video running two engines being GP15 #578 and EMD GP38H-3 #527 (former CN 607 GP40TC)

      @@streamlinedtransit my friend gave me the heads up since he was railfanning at North Elizabeth. The train left Sunnyside Yard to test run on the NEC. But when the train returned back, that was unexpected
