Paige, you are a godsend my man! Thank you so very much for giving your time to show us how to work the Tascam Neo. Your vids deserve more likes for sure!
Thank you for stopping by and also thanks for the comment. I I am doing 31 video on this unit this month. If you have something you would like to have me feature please leave it in the comments. thanks again. Paige Kerry Andderson
I appreciate all the thought and time that you've put into these Tascam instructional videos. You take the instruction from a basic level to much higher level. As with most computerized equipment you buy today, the instruction manual always makes the assumption that the user knows all areas of computer logic and only provides basic operational instructions. You help to fill in all of the blanks. I hope Tascam appreciates the support you give them. I'm sure they're writing you some big checks for promoting their product. (Just kidding).
Mr. P.A. thank you for speaking clearly, knowledgably, and keeping it clean vocally. dude your amazing!* Add all the Neo 2488 vids you can because of you Sir... I am getting so much knowledge and better with my Tasc.2488 Neo!!! Thanks Mr. P.A. !!*. Ps. I didn't know I could export and import rte from the Neo Sir. I thought I had to export to cdr then import bk into the Neo! Great tut P.A.!!*.
Im thinking of buying one of these from a friend. How much should I pay for it? Or should I stay with just an interface and recording software that I can add effects to or is there a way to add say like distortion or echo or reverb to the mix and if so how do you do that? Thx for the video.
Hello Paige , I followed your mix down instructions and the master mix is good ,, but when I burn a CD on my neo 2488 ,the volume on the CD is very low !!! Frustrated in Pasadena
Hi, I have the same problem! all my faders were up to and some above the 0=infinity. Same with the master fader, but CD volume was very low!. ANY HELP?
I'd be most appreciative if you could tell us how to burn songs to CD with the NEO. Also, as a beginner with this NEO, I really don't understand this particular video in MASTERING. When I did what you instructed by starting with pushing down MIXDOWN/MASTERING it says Track is too short. Choose another set point. What am I missing out on? Thank you.
Paige Andderson In your opinion which mastering effect sounds best for just "rock" music? I tried basic cd mastering and it sounding like crap. Trying the others atm.
I’ve found it easier to simply clone the mastered track onto two onboard tracks. Whenever I want to save a particular song, I use the backup CD option, and the master is automatically saved as part of the entire work. I can then later load-up the CD if I choose to create a different version, or even remaster the previous version.
Thee vids are a big help man. I’m trying to master my songs but it keeps telling me the track is too short. I’m in my songs folder, am I in the right place? Anything would help. Thanks again for the great videos man.

Is there really no way to have the export file have a different name than the default SONG082.wav or whatever?
Can you show the easier procedure of the mixdown mastering function?
