- In this episode on Tekniq, we explore the journey of barges being used to transport bulks of sand on the seas bordering while tugboats assist barges to dock ports.
This is a common operation ALL over the world. I live on the west coast of Florida. All along our coastline,
beach renourishment is an ongoing process. Sand and water are pumped from 1 mi out from the Gulf of Mexico I'm to the shoreline. The water drains back. And now the sand remains. Simple and efficient. If you are unaware of this process, you might think of it as a genius idea. It's just plain simple common sense using water as a vehicle to transport sand.
Hello do You live in use
@hasanjurayev2963 do you mean USA? If so, yes Florida is in the USA
It's where they are keeping the shipping channel dredged for the other ships.
Grandi soluzioni tecniche ! complimenti ! un cordiale saluto da Luciano il perugino (Italia) 😀🍀🍀🍀
Fantastic !
it may be "genius" in south asia, but it's VERY common method in south-east asian regions like vietnam
Amazing, the best technique and very genius at work ✨🌺👍👍👌
impressive the barge doesn't sink under the load
Makes perfect sense
"Genius?" used water to get the sand in and using water to get the sand out
You must lead a sheltered life... as this is used all over the UK for rebuilding the heights of beaches to combat erosion
Or we simply don’t live in the UK
天才ではない。
I must have missed the giant ship.
You're an animal 😅😅😅
SAFETY FIRST
also, no PPE in sight except lifevests in the interior.
it's in Bangladesh and they use old diesel truck engines as a main motor
It is not Bangladesh, it's godavari river near rajamahendravarm. You can iconic railway bridges in the background.
@@rajbabupakala7424 But removal of sand from river destroys ecosystem. And Sand mafia is very active in AP.
لا عبقريه ولا حاجة صنعها قبلهم المصريين في حرب اكتوبر من خمسين سنه ودمروا أسطورة خط بارليف
Dit deden wij 30 jaar terug al,
May be there was a mistake in translation, they are loading not dischargin this barge that seems not very🎉 big indeed
Good method for sand used in FILL operations, but zero use for sand used in construction concrete. Salt water!
Those transmissions (flexible joints) of various (crank/drive)shafts are genius, (3:17 and 7:25) never seen it before, and quite some eccentricity to overcome… What material is used, some sort of rubber strips from car tire?
Leather belts from horses that die in the streets.
Why are they getting sand for??.
Concrete.
Many uses, glass, industrial molds, shoreline renewable. Ballast. Gardening, concrete, building, the list goes on
To sell as a commodity just like wood, coal, etc.
India 🇮🇳 wale kon kon h😂😂 plz like
