🥰 Chase how wonderful that you learned this from your father and you pass your skills to your children. I agree it would be wonderful to know these skills were taught in university but I was thinking of a world where little children learned this from an early age. I imagine less dysfunction, disease, crime, medications, relationship breakdowns, jealousy, aggression and emotional disorders
“Be genuinely interested in learning about other people”…so true!! I’m amazed when I go on dates, or ever just out with friends, that some people can go an entire dinner not asking one question to learn about anyone else. Nothing is less engaging or fun to be around. Sometimes this type or person will ask a throw away question, like ‘do you have siblings?’ that you could check a box on a questionnaire to answer. Then they’ll say, ‘I thought we had a good time’ 🤣
👩❤️💋👨Some of my most meaningful friendships, relationships and Buisness contacts came about by meeting across a room , making eye contact and knowing intuitively that we are open to connect. Wonderful ❤️
Chase...you would be an invaluable asset to The Canam missing 411 project with DAVID PAULIDES. Your critical thinking would bring incredible insight to a serious worldwide crisis. Please contact him. Do it for the missing people...both current, and future. Together, you two would be dynamic!
Interestingly, advances in the field of quantum physics have taught us that that 10 million year timeline for our mammalian brains is actually a lot shorter (only about 10-20,000 years) because the speed of light (which is used to calculate radioactive carbon dating through the measuring of decaying atoms) turns out to be slowing down at a demonstrable, exponential rate.. See Setterfield/Norman 👌
As I get it, when you put yourself in a submissive position, you experience a bit of fear, stress and discomfort. If your leader has empathy, well you might make him/her feel uncomfortable as well on a subconscious level when you are around. And this is not what you want.
Why not get the words to describe your guest? You rehearsed the words you used, after all. Could you not have had Chase prepare one for you, practice a few times and then read it fluently? Chase had the good grace to suggest you were asking good questions, before he went on to provide the answer.
This is one of the best interviews of Chase Hughes I've seen and I think I've seen most of them. Great job Mgmt Prof!!!
My blink rate is virtually non existent when I watch Chase Hughes

Chase is the best. I learn so much from him.
So much life experience, knowledge and skill.....and a fresh, unlined face! Unnerving!

You come over as a humble person, am I close? 👌👌
The empathy thing with the submissive interm was confusing. I don't get it.
