I met up with Chef Leander and Chef Anthony who toured me around the buffet to all the different stations. There’s just about everything you can imagine including hot and cold seafood, all you can eat crab legs, prime rib, the massive steamship wagyu leg, bbq, lamb, and then a huge variety of international cuisine including Mexican, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Italian, Middle Eastern, healthy, and salad stations. And that’s not even counting the dozens of desserts.
With a Las Vegas buffet of this magnitude you absolutely must do a lap around the buffet to see what looks the best to you before you start devouring. I was very happy to start with crab legs, and then move onto the delicious meats section - these are the big ticket items. I tried to eat as much as possible and definitely had some dishes from ever kitchen station. It’s a Disneyland of a buffet, and they really do hold to their quality and freshness and variety.

I've never seen someone attack food like this person (with so much appreciation). The sheer volume he consumes is astounding and a marvel considering his build.
One thing I have to say about Mark’s video is how he’s always so very polite to his hosts and to the people serving behind the counter.
I’m so proud that Mark Wein spent most of his teenage life schooling in my country Kenya which tells me that anyone can go places and achieve much if they are determined.
Marks food videos were the only content that my son would settle for when he was a baby. 4 years later, he still prefers to watch Mark over programs like Bluey 😂❤ Guess with videos like this its no wonder. How delicious is this! I also love the manners!

Yes, and Mark is NOT picky. He got used eating all kinds of nutrition since early childhood while being in poorest Africa with his missionary parents. That builds character of personality and real perspective of life. I mean they used to eat insects from forest. So more than anything, he's appreciative of food and nourishment. It's hard to be a picky and over critical person with that experience. PLUS we can see the difference of "normal" and super tasty food from his gestures. He's literally experiencing the different foods of the world. That's what I am here to see. It's a constant adventure.

I can't agree with the genuine part. He needs to eat more things and show that he dislikes more food. That would make him look more human. Right now, him liking almost everything he eats just makes him look like he's faking it especially because his facial expressions are always the same

Hey Mark: I have seen this couple who goes there to give their ratings on their eating the food their. And now that you where the and rate the food there. The only difference is that that couple wasn't all that honest (like you) and the chefs came out from their station and talked with you and just plated your food, just like you are a regular there. Thanks for sharing your videos.

Mark: you needed this after your western African tour, right? The Baccanal knows how to do it right! Very impressive staff, service, selection & quality. So for $80 plus tip & drinks it's a super deal for us common people to eat for 90 minutes duration. You, as a major league foodie get the VIP treatment with unlimited time constraints! Yes, as a 55 year foodie I was impressed with quite a few dishes & I can't even eat a lot of Sweets! The only thing I missed was there a lamb dish, fresh oysters & mussels?

I went there in November 22 it was totally insane - its just too too much and its almost impossible to do it justice as you want to try everything. As buffets go and they are your thing this one is up there with the top echelons ❤

We go every October and we go here for Dinner every single time. Yes it's 80$, but we do it once every time we're there. It's a treat. Plus, if you eat seafood, you get your money's worth for sure. We eat piles of lobster and crab legs.

I haven’t had a good buffet in a long time, but this video made my mouth water so much. Just the variety and the quality from what I can tell is enough to make me want to go there. The most I’ve ever paid for a buffet was $45. It was a seafood buffet in Williamsburg, VA. I thought it was a little expensive but it included all you can eat crab legs, lobster tails and lots more. No way I could eat $80 worth of anything. I’d never eat here.

Welcome to Vegas, Mark! Bacchanal may be the biggest buffet here in Vegas, but the best for me so far is The Buffet in Wynn Hotel and Casino. Less choices compared to Bacchanal, but all the food tastes great!
I've tried both and thought Wynn was terrible. Bacchanal is slightly better but way overpriced for a cheap buffet.
I feel like I want to drive to Vegas now just to eat in this buffet! 😋😋😋

Wow! You have a world class gullet! I live in Vegas and I have seen some serious power buffet eaters but wow! I thought we were going to loose you on the General Tsao's! I always tell folks to plan 2 hours for the buffet and 8 hours for gastric turmoil and recovery. Thanks for the great tour!

Good video Mark, as always. I wonder how many people see a buffet as a challenge? I fall into the trap every two weeks probably, always walk away haven eaten way too much… In Stockholm there are a handful of buffets that are worth it at around 15€ for lunch, mostly Asian and with decent sushi… After seeing this, and the food looks superb, I don’t think I could eat for the 80$ it costs… buffets are tricky…

Eleven years ago, I was turning 40 and headed off to Dubai for a few weeks to celebrate. I had been several times before and had friends there that were expats and had been there for years.
There was an ex pat tradition so to speak, which was to go to Brunch on a Saturday, which most of the big luxury hotels have, but it is a brunch with a difference. It is a buffet, the likes I've certainly never seen before or since.
There is literally food and dishes from all over the world. A sushi and sashimi station, every type of starters, entrees, soups, noodles, stir fries, Chinese dishes and even a foie gras station cooked to order by a chef. Omelettes to your recipe, but one of the highlights is the roast dinner station, with roast beef, pork and cracking, lamb, chicken, turkey, roast potatoes, and all the sides, and then the desserts. Well, the desserts went on for miles, cakes, gateaux, fruit, choux pastries, and many more. On top of all this, if you choose, there is unlimited champagne, or other drinks, depending on the package you choose. It was about £50 or $60, and we were there for about 3 or 4 hours before then heading off to continue the celebrations elsewhere.
One of the most memorable food experiences I've ever had.

@@silververnallbells191 lol, whilst Muslims don't eat pork, and Dubai might be predominantly Muslim, that doesn't mean you can't go to the supermarket and buy bacon. The supermarkets have a section, looks a little like a back room, usually marked 'Pork for non Muslims' so us heathens can still enjoy a bacon sandwich and a pork chop. Likewise certain hotels and restaurants have pork on their menu.

I'm a huge fan of the Bacchanal Buffet, it's one of my top picks. However, I'd strongly suggest checking out the Wicked Spoon Buffet at the Cosmopolitan. Despite the often long lines, Bonvoy Platinum members get a dedicated line. Since you are in Vegas, trying out the Wicked Spoon is a definite must in my recommendation.
