Pirates of Nassau - the Pirate Museum of the Bahamas

During our Independence of the Seas cruise in November 2021 we ventured forth into Nassau in search of a rollicking good time. We found it here at the Pirates of Nassau, a museum dedicated to pirates! We cannot recommend this place enough for young and old. It tells the tale of those scurvy dogs who hunted law-abiding captains and crews to capture and plunder their booty. Filled with dioramas and plenty of information, you will find this museum to be informative (as well as air-conditioned) and entertaining. So the next time you're in the Bahamas and your ship docks in Nassau, skip the beach and head into town (just a short 10 minute walk from the port) to spend an hour or two at this captivating museum otherwise we'll have to make you "walk the plank"! ;o)

You should! Well worth the money and so incredibly close to the cruise port.
