Just got mine yesterday. I have both the Rask and the Norseman. I can’t believe the attention to detail. These are the best knives I own and I own some nice knives. Direware-Microtech, Benchmade to protect. I have 7 Medfords. The cation on these knives is almost fake it’s so good. I’ll carry mine so much because of the fidget factor
That always means impingement of some sort. You should do a deep dive on "knife making tuesdays" John's earliest work as he enamored to produce a unique product with insane tolerances and quality craftsmanship. It's hard to get away from drop shutty when you're down to less than .004 Even the bearings and cages are nuts when it comes to tolerances. "Full Grimsmo" as John calls it.
Tight tolerances aren't synonymous with drop shut. For frame locks and liner locks, it's mostly about tuning lock bar tension, as well as the polish, or lack thereof, of the surface that the detent ball rides on. @@michaelhammond7115

I really don't like that sort of free-fall action. I like the type of controlled drop shut where the blade softly closes as you rotate the handle.
I totally get that. right now my favorite action is the washer smooth close, it changes from time to time. the crazy dropper has been fun though lol
@@KnifeStandards Washers rule. I am ok with the drop but don't like the bounce. Sold mine, but otherwise excellent.
My self..pm2 does nice!
