Thanks for the video and nice area shots. Looks like that was at one time a 2 track tunnel. If you want to see a speeding train and a tunnel, you need to see a ICE at top speed.
@@B-and-O-Operator-Fairmont Second track was removed around 1974 - 75 when the Chessie System went on a revitalization spree. Second mains between Thurmond and Sewell and from Claremont to Prince met the axe. Little Bend Tunnel just outside of Hinton was replaced with a double track cut. Great Bend Tunnel's alignment was also removed then as well.
Hard to see the building. River was nice. Tunnels those are always a surprise to see. Stay off rr property though, Specially at a tunnel. Trains are always closer than we think they are and they can't slam on their brakes fast enough. It's takes miles to stop a train
Nearly every mile of railway in Ireland is now lined with Green Pailisade fencing with similar fines for trespassing. Amazes me too how little restrictions to railway land there is in the US
Check out my other video of an abandoned tunnel on the Gauley river.

amercian trains look so huge compared to the ones we have here in the UK! love the scenery of the area and the train is simply amazing !
Thank you.
Our loading gauge and axle loading are quite a bit larger, but what your trains lack in size they certainly make up for in style!
I got sea sick watching this
Was it my shaky cam? I gotta figure out how to stabalize...

That's different to see a Pan Am and Guilford in WV. I see them frequently in MA of course and in NY. Thanks for sharing the video.

I'll check it out later. Thanks
They can go over 300 km/h! But I´m making trains in Algodoo, and I have this red pointy train that can go 700 km/h!
looks like there were 2 tracks a long time ago.
There were. It was probably single tracked when Centralized Traffic Control was installed.
the plate F box cars created most of the singlelining of main track tunnels ….
Plate F boxcars ( extra dimensional ) created the single track mains in tunnels …..
