rain makes me happy. it’s like a cleanser and that’s why when i walk in the rain i have no umbrella and i just let it wash away all the pain. that’s also why i sleep in rain.
It amazes me how it can rain for 10 hours straight but no flooding occurs. If it drizzles in Louisiana people are running around looking for sand bags after the first 10 minutes

Not a care in the world, not a hair that is dry, nor a sound in the night other than the drip, drip, drip of the rain on the road. Her thoughts full of pleasant things and pleasant people, her heart full of love.

I have nostalgia from rain, I moved out of my house of 9 years (my only house) and into a apartment then a normal house when my parents divorced. I’m going to be 13 in 4 months and at the time, it would rain as LOT at my old house for some reason. I had a bedroom on the second floor with windows looking out into the driveway. If I payed on the opposite side of the bed I could see outside and hear as much as I could of the rain. (I didn’t have hearing aids back then) It made a sound that I omg happen on my window now but even now that I get to hear these even though I’m not there anymore is awesome. I do miss my old house though :(
Imagine you are an employee working late in one of those buildings while it is raining and looking out at the rain falling onto the concrete and the grass but you are in here alone as everyone else has gone home except for you and a few of janitors cleaning the buildings but they are working and you are on your own and you don't want to get out in it because you have just gotten over a cold recently, but the head janitor says it's okay to wait until it slacks up as they will be here for all of the night up until early morning so you wait it out, now you could have called someone to pick you up but everyone has gone away for the weekend. ---------- You have been here for an hour now and inside you hear the sounds of vacuums running and mops being slung around on the floors and trash cans being emptied and on the outside you hear the rain falling still and off in the distance it's thundering and lightning a little as well and it looks like you will be here for a while longer but you just look out at the grounds in front of the building that you are inside and then you glance up into the rainy night sky and lastly into the faint city lights and you drift off to sleep but you are awaken by a vacuum cleaner nearby and one of the janitors says it is slacking up some and that you might be able to get home but you live at least six miles from here but you just wait a few more minutes just in case and one of the other janitors give you a cup of coffee to keep you awake so when it clears up enough to you'll be ready to make it home somehow. ---------- It's been three hours now and it's finally stopped and only a few clouds but they are heading onward you are now ready to try to make it home and one of the janitors let's you out and off you go and do you make it home well kinda sorta as you were two blocks from your house it decides to rain some more but you only get a little wet but you are finally home now and you have the weekend to rest up for, so g'night y'all 😴.
This habit was started out of boredom and now i cant believe i religiously listen to rain's sound whenever i need to sleep HAHAHAHAHHAHA
