I dont like the new custom ammo's. The original is just better in almost every way. It only gets countered by a rarely used perk and bad aim. The shotgun rng just isnt worth it in my opinion.

The effective range of steel balls is HIGHER than the max. range as which you can (more or less) reliably hit a harpoon shot, _and_ you do not give the person you're shooting at any chance to retaliate, before they die. How anybody can argue against balls of steel is beyond me. Duke Nukem all the way, baby.

I remember telling my team when we saw there was only 1 person on scan that it was probably some cracked solo and I would get instantly when I walked it. I actually laughed out loud when you killed me since thats exactly what happened.

Nagant Officer high velocity is a good alternative I'd say for anyone who wants to play this a bit cheaper. For more expensive you can go headclicker, I mean bornheim match with quartermaster :) Nice vid!
I always loved the Bomblance anyway, but I just started using the Steel Balls and it’s so great. I’ve been using the regular conversion as my sidearm though since I always seem to be most accurate with it. Might switch to the New Army for a little higher RoF though.
That was a reel storyline. I've been bitter towards a lot of my teammates lately, but that last game just reminded me that we're all just a bunch of cowboys lookin for a paycheck.
I am repeatedly baffled by how ignoring folks can be when someone "sneaks" uppon them. Fast movement and a lot of suppression via explosions, noise etc can keep them so busy and overloaded, they all fall to the bomb lance. By far my most lethal weapon in the hunt.
yeah the most skilled sniper wouldnt be able to kill me (im not good i just play in ways snipers seem to not click well with) but if someone with a bomb lance rushes me i have 0.5 seconds to react before i just shut down
@elwiwi4638 there is not better gameplay mechanic in Hunt than the feeling of power you get when you know the fear and panic is setting in as a result of a bomb lance rush
Just started playing a few days ago and can hardly get a kill - watching you completely annihilate like this has given me hope hahaha. That last game was insane and the ending was icing on the cake!
I was just thinking that a silent shotgun would be perfect for my skill deficit and obsession with silent killing. Now that you've described the bomb lance as such I'm slightly inclined to use the thing for once
btw not sure if you caught it or not, the last team im pretty sure left a bounty token at that lair for you incase you came back, there was still one token not taken
Bomb lance has me so tilted lately, ive been killed by multiple 5 stars who grab bounty and scurry away to a building that they’ve practiced camping in. Then they throw flashbombs out or trade with me and there’s literally no way for me to fucking win against them. This feels like an unfixable issue without just removing bomb lance or flashbangs all together.
Bomb lance steel balls with a good old pax fmj ammo personally. You can't go wrong with the fmj pax especially since they reduced the recoil when fanning it just works.
Loved this video. Two things though. One I am glad it is not just me that seems to find 90% of the viop chat unintelligable. Secondly also glad I am not the only person headshotting posts etc. ;)
lol, damn that was an entertaining video. You are so good with that pistol. I can't get head shots with it to save my life. But this video inspired me to try this loadout a few times and I'm loving it. I just use a different a New Army or Nagant Officer instead.

It's a decent gun but it's made a lot better with how people play they play assuming you have a nagant, or a crown and king, they dont expect you to have the bomb lance at all
He has the trait Bullet Grubber. With it, when you reload any gun that is supposed to trash one bullet per early reload, your character will catch it and reuse it, saving ammo.
I play with a good bit of Twitch streamers and honestly running into people you know from stream in matches just makes the game that much more interesting lol, we've had some funny matches no doubt! Nice gameplay though, keep wrecking em!
Been playing quite a bit of bomblance lately and by god is it satisfying when you get any kill with it... although I usually take spitfire or pax with FMJ alongside it, might give bornheim a try after this... (probably gonna miss all the headshots and burn a pile of cash along with it)
Pssst...hey buddy...New Army. With dumdum ammo. Try it. You lose wallbang potential. But you gain lots of negative comments on your steam profile from all the people you kill.
@@ZergleJerk Tried new army with dum dum, honestly I cannot aim for shit when the bullet velocity gets too low. Wayyy too many fights in this game I get owned at close or long range which I feel the new army dum dum kinda lacks at
@@Chronyxt I hated the New Army for a long time. But there is a sweet spot for it. And it is exactly the same spot as steel ball range. And you can hipfire it reliably at that range. My other favorite is just a regular Nagant revolver. With or without poison ammo. The Conversion is out for me now because, same issue, I cannot aim the damn thing.
The worst part about this event is that all the stuff I want to use for it I haven't unlocked yet. I got the bright idea to prestige because of the solo event perks but I never have time to play, so I'm just stuck at low rank with nothing unlocked and no access to any of the cool new event weapons
The only problems that i mainly ever have with HuntShowdown is every time when i play with people they seem to not have ears like when i look and spectate them i hear the enemy right behind them and so do they, but they act oblivious and that's usually how it goes.
After 400 hours I didn't even realize I could que into a team of randoms until I saw it on a content creators page. I would always just play with friends, or do solo vs teams. If I got money to burn, I like to solo into trios (I do this with most battle-royaleesque games for practice reasons). There's no better feeling than being by yourself, and wiping 3 teams of 3 and extracting with both bounties 😎

I can't get any solid hits with steel ball. I prefer standard ammo. I'm also pissed the Dragon's Breath is literally just Dragon's Breath ammo and not the "stream of flame" it says it's supposed to be.
You wanna really be a bad man? My crew and I have been all running crossbow with explosive bolts, and 4 ammo boxes each. We use it as artillery, just lobbing bolts at a target for 10 minutes straight. It is cowardly but effective
I have been using bomblance with hand crossbow half poison since scrapbeak. Since poison bolts one shot immolators and bomblance is already a superb melee weapon it frees a tool slot to take medkit with all the tripwires. Its very counterintuitive but this loadout gives you so much map control and speed that most of my kills are melee woth the odd one from the regular bolt when someone is just outside charging range. Its a teue monster slayer, I call it the hellsing.
What do you mean when you say a player "popped"? Does it have to with self revive or something? Also just found your channel and have been loving the videos.
In Devils moon, players made a sound when they returned to the menu. So if a player “popped,” it meant they were no longer a threat that could be revived

Grounded tier 2 perk makes you basically invisible to enemies including crows.
@@JimBurly I'm quite sure it doesn't work on sound traps though? Also crows activate with sound not vision and that perk doesn't affect sound at all

I must add, for anyone looking to join the bomb lance army, a light melee will kill just as well as a heavy, and is an easier hit pattern
but heavy melee is an emotional support

I guess Bornheim with incendiary ammo would work well too? Make enemies burn in longer ranges and rush them with steel ball shaft 🤔

Steel ball is oppresive as an ammunition. Its so good. Still nothing compares to taunting someone after you stickem with the explosive bolt.

It's not the most practical, but the Bomb Lance is still easily my favorite primary.
The clips i been getting with this load out without even knowing the GOAT himself has been abusing it.

I prefer taking QM and using the nagant deadeye w/ HV, I can't land bornheim headclicks myself.
