It's my number one weapon in hunt and fills the empty space for a drilling. (Which is a double barrel shotgun with a rifle barrel) I love to carry a specter with me for those close encounters and extra ammo. It's a great weapon with lots of oppertunity's. How many times did you need a shotgun when you were carrying a rifle but did you need a rifle when you had a shotgun?
Honestly, a nice pace for the pistol carbines, a bit better than the nagant, but not strong enough to overthrow the officer carbine. A nice change in the armory.
I am absolutely obsessed with the lemat carbine, the way I view it is that, with FMJ and slugs, you're essentially carrying a slower reloading, slightly less ranged version of the karabiner that has a nasty little surprise with it. You're getting the value of carrying both a rifle and a shotgun without having quartermaster. One of the larger issues with the carbine though, is the fact that my aim is so fucked up from having the sights be bugged for a good few weeks so i've taught myself to aim lower than I need to. Buckshot is also kinda just useless on it, unless you're carrying a matched pair of normal lemats with it for the extra ammo. Easily one of my new favorite guns, even with the flaws it has.
Duel lemats with fmj and slugs paired with the Lemat carbine with fmj and slugs it basically has the same range as a Romero and the rifle power of a Winfield.
From the time I played with the Lemat Carbine, I enjoyed it! But, I wonder if the small Lemat makes a good pairing with it. I found it really easy to lose track of which gun was in which state.
Honestly, I love the Lemat Carbine. I'm the kinda guy that goes 'I woulda done better here with a shotgun', then immediately get longammo'd the next match and go 'I woulda done better with a rifle'. Now I can just take both and be happy when I die cause I just have to blame my own stupidity.

@@BucketKingu some time ago I just really could not see how using an melee weapon could work in this game. Then I got an character with an Cavalry Saber and got 4 melee kills in an shootout. Now I always go with at least an bayonet if possible
The most annoying thing about LeMat Carbine is The Magic Bullet Summoning Finger reloading animation. And, adding insult to the injury, they released it at the same time with Krag, which reloading animation is gorgeously detailed.
The officer carbine/deadeye has the same reload too because both were created from the pistol variants. The team said in a video it would take too much time and resources to animate the rod that pushes out the empty bullet case out of the gun. (I could be wrong but I also think they mentioned it was something in the core coding of the gun(s) which would take even more time and resources.)

@@vernaltear how I see it is there's a handfull of bullets in the palm and he uses his fingers to pull one from there to reload. They could have probably shown that better but it's how I'm seeing it considering they show his hand leave your vision to grab bullets at the start.
Also, 9/10 people are naturally immune to their form of leprosy. Didn't pull that number out of thin air, an actual study was done on it. Even if you're the 1/10, leprosy isn't a death sentence like in biblical times. Take a few pills over the course of a week, and you're cured.
I like the Lemat Carbine for hunter builds without weapon traits. It just works straight out of the box. Also right after the 5:00 mark I clenched so hard when I was sure that concertina bomb was going to hit Scrapbeak's wire.
Honestly I like it. It's outclassed by everything in any particular niche, but also works for pretty much any situation, no perks required. It's the ultimate "jack of all trades" gun-you can always be at least somewhat qualified to fight people, and it's a rifle you can push with.
I've found the secret sauce to be double Lemat, as in carbine and pistol both with FMJ and Slugs. A single Lemat doesn't really have the ammo pool to take the speculative shots that FMJ is so good for. That was really apparent in game 4 where you had to ditch the carbine because you were out of ammo, even after going through a scottfield and a pax. I switch the pistol to shotgun at the beginning of the match and only pull it out for follow ups if I miss the carbine shot. Going to I think 45? total FMJ rounds for the Carbine and 7? slugs is fantastic for longevity. Bonus is that the carbine has built in scopesmith and the build doesn't need any other perks.
First off, The Lemat MRK II has been my savior and 'last resort' in many games. I've never been saved in so many situations than I have with that small little shotgun barrel. Now, the Lemat carbine acts almost exactly like the Mark II for me. I LOVE IT, It's a direct upgrade from my favorite weapon. It is weird with it's recoil but it's exactly how you said. It is a gun that reads the room and the fact you can do anything with it at any time. Makes it absolutely amazing. It makes me confident to push when I feel like I need to push, it works for me when I need to keep a cool head and stand back a bit. And in both situations where nothing's going right, it still allows me to adapt in that stress. I love the gun and it loves me, that's the only way I can explain it.
I like the versatility it brings. It's not going to match any other weapon in its special place, but it will be the dude who's dragged himself through the mud to grab your ankle, and only then will you realize he's got a knife. My personal preference is actually to bring it and a caldwell with explosive rounds, bust through that barricaded compound door that no one ever booby traps, and then hold a peaceful conversation about how I am now in their home stealing all the food from their fridge.
I really like the Lemat Carbine. It's great for very aggressive pushing, very little downtime when switching from rifle to shotgun or back again. Ammo pool isn't too bad either, and it doesn't require any traits. I recommend taking it with the Hand Crossbow with regular and poison bolts for the utility.
As long as you finish the weeklies you should be able to finish the event, to my knowledge. With the pass they give 6400 points, which is just over enough each week to get your 800 a day. You will need to buy the pass, though, but it honestly pays for itself after a while with BB returns. I can usually get all 30 points in one sitting if I focus on easier objectives, or in 2 if Im just having fun. I'd give that a shot if you're having trouble!
@@Sadeyr these event structures do not work for people who play this game non religiously, got 6 grand slams without any bounty completions and I am still on tier 1, was not able to complete my challenges during my games. I could be relying too heavily on anecdote but everyone I know hates the event structures and chooses to not play during events
I work 6 days a week every week for last ten years of my life I play maybe a handful of games a day.. I just unlocked the first legendary hunter in the BP. Maybe it’s not a GAME issue?..
Lemat Carbine with FMJ and Slugs is really nice. The only thing I miss about it, is that it isn't a medium ammo weapon. Because the fire rate is very slow, the reload animation is very slow and the damage isn't really that high. So either they should increase the fire rate a little bit, or make it a medium ammo weapon.
Btw the carbine doesn t have a strange recoil pattern, you are aiming lower because if you compare it to the pistol version the carabine is missing a small portion of the iron sight pin. Therefore the bullet goes a little bit higher if you aim normally

Hey coming back to this because apparently I was wrong, but I feel like I have seen this bug before. Okay so apparently there is a bug where if you hover over the revive button, regardless of being burnt out, you can still res. Is that was happened here? I'm not sure. I feel like I have had situations where a lamp doesn't do the job but I don't have any video examples to explore it further. I'll see what I can find :) thanks for bringing it up!
I love it. Not because it fits any particular niche that I need, but because I like revolvers. And it's just a big, faster-shooting, steady-aiming revolver, which I like. It handles like how I wish the conversion pistol handled, with the fire rate I wish it had, but with the downside of having no fanning. Thus, it fits my two-revolver style perfectly. The shotgun is a bonus in case I miss my fanning shots. Honestly, the winfield is otherwise my preferred gun for pretty much every other purpose. It feels smoother spamming shots down ADS, and has high velocity ammo. It also has the most versatile close range option in the game, levering. But it's not a revolver.
Great gameplay, really great, I can't believe how good this is! I hope there comes a time when I can defeat as many Hunters, and respect that you stick with the LeMat Carbine when there are so many nice weapons lying around.
Load it with slugs, and it's an absolute treat to play with. Fast-firing, requires ZERO traits, and that slug has a 25m kill range (just as strong as the Romero 77 slug).
Had a dude running both versions of the lemat stomp me and my buddy last night. Very unique variety given by this gun. I started using it and I kindof love it.
I'm torn. I like the high rate of fire the Officer Carbine has, but the Lemat and it's carbine are single action so their fire rate is much slower. However, The Officer Carbine doesn't have Dragons Breath.
The buckshot spread is comically large, larger than many of the handcannons / sawed off shotguns. Do not run the LeMat carbine with anything but slugs if you want it be reliable Also, it's iron sights are misaligned and it's shooting quite a bit above the front iron sight post. Hopefully that last issue gets fixed soon, and buckshot gets a spread reduction at some point to properly act like a "medium" barrel shotgun
I like using the lemat carbine with 2 lemats. i stow the 2 lemats with the shotgun out so i can double barrel up close. if I run out of ammo in the carbine and get rushed I switch to the duals and switch to the compact ammo and just spam them. works very well imo. I love this loadout.

Saddest thing about the Lemat carbine for me is that the officer brawler doesn't have FMJ. Cus I love the Lemat, I love FMJ on compact guns, and I'd love to drop my melee weapon for an extra slot. ..But if I want to use the Lemat carbine with the brawler without having to worry about ammo, I need to use the default ammo. Which has screwed me over with pen on walls that look pennable so many times! My perfect loadout would be the Carbine, an officer brawler, throwing axes, decoys, chokes, medkit. But I gotta slide an ammo box into my consumables if I want to use their special ammo types. :
It is weird. For a while I thought I wanted a Lemat with fanning on secondary, but I found it was too many ammo types to manage in the heat of a fight. Finally switch to the scottfield swift because the Lemat reload is so long
Can we talk about how you eject live rounds when you reload any Lemat? When you shoot, the cylinders rotate clockwise. When you reload, you push the round out and insert a new one. But then you also rotate the cylinders clockwise. So then your character is ejecting the round they were about to just shoot. This repeats until your character decides to stop loading rounds. WHERE DO THE EMPTY ROUNDS GO?
Oh and a side note, due to binaural audio it's impossible to tell up/down. Having two sound sources on left/right makes it literally impossible. Can also be hard to tell straight ahead/straight behind as they sound the same, tho you can just swivel your view to figure out where it's from if you are fast enough.
pre recorded audio is basically an illusion ; it has to work around or with most of us having two earholes to process audio binaurally and use relatively subtle cues to determine space if limited to hearing. I never even really thought about it but that is exactly why it's so hard to tell those things just in general when you're listening back to something much less in this game lol
in 1.11 they made a very slight change to what sounds gets played if a hunter in the same building as you (walking on wood only) is above, below, or on the same floor. Its still new, situational, and VERY slight
@@TheColoneloftruth True, but as you say it's very slight and it still sounds as if it's on the same level as you. Unless you know the sound difference there is no way to tell. And honestly? I've yet to benefit from it in actual gameplay. More often than not I realize their elevation from other queues(glass, chains, different materials etc) way before I try to guess if it's the 'above', 'below' or 'same' level sound.
I think it's great for using with free hunters or ones that don't have any specific weapon-related traits. Pairing it with the New Army FMJ gives you a nice ammo boost and a spammable secondary for no perks (or you get the Conversion FMJ if you got lucky with a fanning hunter).
i personally really have been enjoying my time with the carbine. the iron sights are pretty nice imo. and i click a lot of heads with it. the shotgun using buckshot is kinda meh due to the low kill range, BUT slugs are just really good, you should always take them on both lemat variants! the shotgun saved me from more than one melee rush so far just because people dont expect you can swap to a shotgun with so little delay
Been playing with the Carbine and a hand crossbow w/ 1/2 =poison, or a Terminus Handcannon to back it up if I have Quartermaster. Normally take it in my usual trio with friends, and take hellfire bombs or concertina bombs and wires to deny a lot of area. I'm not the best at anything this way but I get a lot of flexible play space.
LeMat Carbine has been my absolute go to since unlocking the fmj ammo. The even better side is that I can run something silly with it and not feel like a hindrance to the squad!
A more accurate representation of this event would be to have you sit and watch that body unedited for 5 minutes. You were very lucky to have a lamp near by.
honestly the different play styles make this game interesting. Sometimes a hunter just taking off mid fight confuses me. I love looking at the post match to attempt dismantling all of the events.
Meh, all gun are good on people with skill. In my opinion, I don't like it as a rifle, but I am happy that they have placed it. One more compact ammo rifle that is not a damned Winfield for a change, and apart from the fact that it keeps the shotgun but this time with a longer barrel gives it some versatility. It's not a good weapon, but a good addition.
according to in game stat, lemat carbine slug has the same stat as the other long barrel shotgun. It also has a weird dragon breath that has the highest effective range but lower 10m damage compare to other long barrel.
I’ve always enjoyed using the Lemat for ammo pool. I think what I like about the Lamat Carbine, is it’s a low cost, not bad weapon. It has a slightly better muzzle velocity and range. It’s not a bad weapon to take.
I just started playing a week ago and found this gun from someone i killed and fell in love and started turbo-unlocking lol, fastest shooting speed and lowest recoil ive seen out of any main gun, i miss a lot so i need it
My issue with LeCarbine is that it has "what do you get the man who has everything" syndrome and you cant pair it with anything that improves your long range capabilities. The only sidearm ive found complements it well is the bornheim running normal compact on both and slugs on lemat giving you both better ammo pool and a point blank bullet hose for when the shotgun inevitably dosnt kill
In the handful of games I played so far I found it really suits my playstyle of flank and push, you can plink heads accurately and follow up with decent speed if you miss, and also have the option of going close quarter with the alt fire. Found it important to make sure that instead of playing your weapon, you play against your opponents. If they have long ammo and scoped, push in and let the shotty win the day. If they are shotty themselves, stay back and plink away at heads.
It's the best weapon in the game, im maining it so hard. If you take FMJ with Slugs its sooo good. Im not even taking secondary, I farm uppercuts from enemies xD
When you take an officer (arguably the best pistol in the game) and make it a rifle turns out it’s busted. When you take a lematt (arguably the most meh pistol) and make it a rifle turns out it’s meh. That being said the gun is fun to play around, pairing it with a long ammo pistol makes its a super reliable 2-tap machine. In general it feels average across the board, you can either pay range averagely or you can push averagely
Why no slugs in the Carbine? it would buff the shotgun part for sure and with it its a full shotgun experience in my mind. only the fire rate of the compact barrel could be a bit higher
How did you not die at 5:06 I thought the concertina would have blocked the throw. It's happened to me on frag grenades. Weird, I guess the concertina bomb went through.
i think if they either increased the effective range by a decent bit(maybe closer to 190m ish from its current low 140), increase the fire rate or both, it'd be in a good spot. Versatile, while still being useful, but while still having other guns that outclass its rifle and shotgun pieces.
I for some reason love the LeMat Carbine but hate the LeMat. I seem to go grazy with the LeMat and really enjoy using it. But i also love the cenetenial so i guess im bit special in the head :)
I was wrecking with this gun today had 7 kills and was about to extract with 2 bounties but after I killed the last guy the game ended and said that I ran out of time, but the end screen only said it was a 22 min match, that was pretty frustrating losing the hunter and good rewards after such a good match
Really liked the subtitles. Id maybe turn the opacity up a little bit or use a slightly different font so they clash less with the feel of hunt overall.
lemat is pretty good for a solo player like me, carbine for med to long range engagement while having a Romero shotgun build in just in case of any shotgun is required within the range
Lemat carbons is by far the one of the most overpowered and underrated light ammo guns, it has zero recoil and an amazing iron sight I have never been able to wipe a full team of long ammo users until I had one of these in my hand
Technically only the 9 Ring or banded Armadillo is the only species that carries leprosy and only the 3 ring is the only one that can coil up into a ball. All the other species of Armadillo are normally blocky looking and can't roll up or carry diseases and only one screams, that is the screaming hairy Armadillo which can't roll up or carry leprosy but does scream like a banshee. Now you know.
I went from 1080p to 4k ultrawide 180hz, HDR with brutal colour accuracy and I cannot complain :D Ones you got the Curvy one, the flats are no go anymore :D
I like the Lemat carbine, though I don't get the reason why its reload is slower than the pistol, which isn't the case on the nagant carbine. Slow rate of fire, odd recoil pattern and long reload? I want to like it, but it doesn't seem great for drawn out engagements, which compact ammo excels at.
It just kinda seems like a good value gun... no perks needed, attractive pricepoint ($130), bonus shotgun?! Like, sure, it's not a long ammo rifle. And it's not a Rival. But it seems pretty damn good in short-range engagements.
I actually really like the Lemat Carbine. It just "clicks" for me in the right way, as certain weapons sometimes just do. I've had both good success and loads of fun with it. Certainly not a meta-worthy gun though
I want to use this so bad, but I prestiged before the event and now the LeMats ammo types are bugged, dragon breath is locked behind the carbine itself even though I already have the carbine, it doesn't progress further, which is disheartening because fmj and slugs are unlocked after, even blueprints don't progress the dragons breath
im a nagant officer carbine kind of guy so ill think that im gonna like the new lemat for sure :D and remember a gun dosent have to be good to bring something new to the table imo

Actually, you'd only get leprosy from an armadillo if:
-It had leprosy
-You are eating it
-It is undercooked
My take away from this comment is that I should run the Lemat Carbine with star shells and incendiary ammo in order to properly cook my kills

I work 6 days a week every week for last ten years of my life I play maybe a handful of games a day.. I just unlocked the first legendary hunter in the BP. Maybe it’s not a GAME issue?..
Lemat Carbine with FMJ and Slugs is really nice. The only thing I miss about it, is that it isn't a medium ammo weapon. Because the fire rate is very slow, the reload animation is very slow and the damage isn't really that high. So either they should increase the fire rate a little bit, or make it a medium ammo weapon.
But it is not a medium ammo weapon, that wouldn't work with the shotgun attachment.
I guess they could up the reload a little or smth

Btw the carbine doesn t have a strange recoil pattern, you are aiming lower because if you compare it to the pistol version the carabine is missing a small portion of the iron sight pin. Therefore the bullet goes a little bit higher if you aim normally

Hey Home, I thought bodies burned until all the health bars are gone. Could you tell me how the solo stopped burning at 27:15 and still got up? You seemed ready for it so is there some kind of interaction with self reviving and burning out that I'm not aware of?
Hey coming back to this because apparently I was wrong, but I feel like I have seen this bug before. Okay so apparently there is a bug where if you hover over the revive button, regardless of being burnt out, you can still res. Is that was happened here? I'm not sure. I feel like I have had situations where a lamp doesn't do the job but I don't have any video examples to explore it further. I'll see what I can find :) thanks for bringing it up!
I love it. Not because it fits any particular niche that I need, but because I like revolvers. And it's just a big, faster-shooting, steady-aiming revolver, which I like. It handles like how I wish the conversion pistol handled, with the fire rate I wish it had, but with the downside of having no fanning.
Thus, it fits my two-revolver style perfectly. The shotgun is a bonus in case I miss my fanning shots.
Honestly, the winfield is otherwise my preferred gun for pretty much every other purpose. It feels smoother spamming shots down ADS, and has high velocity ammo. It also has the most versatile close range option in the game, levering. But it's not a revolver.

Great gameplay, really great, I can't believe how good this is! I hope there comes a time when I can defeat as many Hunters, and respect that you stick with the LeMat Carbine when there are so many nice weapons lying around.
Load it with slugs, and it's an absolute treat to play with. Fast-firing, requires ZERO traits, and that slug has a 25m kill range (just as strong as the Romero 77 slug).
Had a dude running both versions of the lemat stomp me and my buddy last night.
Very unique variety given by this gun. I started using it and I kindof love it.
I'm torn. I like the high rate of fire the Officer Carbine has, but the Lemat and it's carbine are single action so their fire rate is much slower.
However, The Officer Carbine doesn't have Dragons Breath.
The buckshot spread is comically large, larger than many of the handcannons / sawed off shotguns. Do not run the LeMat carbine with anything but slugs if you want it be reliable
Also, it's iron sights are misaligned and it's shooting quite a bit above the front iron sight post.
Hopefully that last issue gets fixed soon, and buckshot gets a spread reduction at some point to properly act like a "medium" barrel shotgun
I like using the lemat carbine with 2 lemats. i stow the 2 lemats with the shotgun out so i can double barrel up close. if I run out of ammo in the carbine and get rushed I switch to the duals and switch to the compact ammo and just spam them. works very well imo. I love this loadout.

Saddest thing about the Lemat carbine for me is that the officer brawler doesn't have FMJ. Cus I love the Lemat, I love FMJ on compact guns, and I'd love to drop my melee weapon for an extra slot. ..But if I want to use the Lemat carbine with the brawler without having to worry about ammo, I need to use the default ammo. Which has screwed me over with pen on walls that look pennable so many times!
My perfect loadout would be the Carbine, an officer brawler, throwing axes, decoys, chokes, medkit. But I gotta slide an ammo box into my consumables if I want to use their special ammo types. :
It is weird. For a while I thought I wanted a Lemat with fanning on secondary, but I found it was too many ammo types to manage in the heat of a fight. Finally switch to the scottfield swift because the Lemat reload is so long

Can we talk about how you eject live rounds when you reload any Lemat?
When you shoot, the cylinders rotate clockwise.
When you reload, you push the round out and insert a new one. But then you also rotate the cylinders clockwise. So then your character is ejecting the round they were about to just shoot. This repeats until your character decides to stop loading rounds.
WHERE DO THE EMPTY ROUNDS GO?
Oh and a side note, due to binaural audio it's impossible to tell up/down. Having two sound sources on left/right makes it literally impossible. Can also be hard to tell straight ahead/straight behind as they sound the same, tho you can just swivel your view to figure out where it's from if you are fast enough.
pre recorded audio is basically an illusion ; it has to work around or with most of us having two earholes to process audio binaurally and use relatively subtle cues to determine space if limited to hearing. I never even really thought about it but that is exactly why it's so hard to tell those things just in general when you're listening back to something much less in this game lol
in 1.11 they made a very slight change to what sounds gets played if a hunter in the same building as you (walking on wood only) is above, below, or on the same floor. Its still new, situational, and VERY slight
@@TheColoneloftruth True, but as you say it's very slight and it still sounds as if it's on the same level as you. Unless you know the sound difference there is no way to tell. And honestly? I've yet to benefit from it in actual gameplay. More often than not I realize their elevation from other queues(glass, chains, different materials etc) way before I try to guess if it's the 'above', 'below' or 'same' level sound.
I have nine bullets in the Lamat carbine and two of them have your name on it and I'll keep firing until I figure out which one.
I think it's great for using with free hunters or ones that don't have any specific weapon-related traits. Pairing it with the New Army FMJ gives you a nice ammo boost and a spammable secondary for no perks (or you get the Conversion FMJ if you got lucky with a fanning hunter).

i personally really have been enjoying my time with the carbine. the iron sights are pretty nice imo. and i click a lot of heads with it.
the shotgun using buckshot is kinda meh due to the low kill range, BUT slugs are just really good, you should always take them on both lemat variants!
the shotgun saved me from more than one melee rush so far just because people dont expect you can swap to a shotgun with so little delay

Been playing with the Carbine and a hand crossbow w/ 1/2 =poison, or a Terminus Handcannon to back it up if I have Quartermaster. Normally take it in my usual trio with friends, and take hellfire bombs or concertina bombs and wires to deny a lot of area. I'm not the best at anything this way but I get a lot of flexible play space.
LeMat Carbine has been my absolute go to since unlocking the fmj ammo. The even better side is that I can run something silly with it and not feel like a hindrance to the squad!
Lemat carbine(fmj,slug) with lemat(fmj/fire,buckshot) is really versatile build has good range 1 shot potential with the slugs and buckshot

honestly the different play styles make this game interesting. Sometimes a hunter just taking off mid fight confuses me. I love looking at the post match to attempt dismantling all of the events.

In my opinion, I don't like it as a rifle, but I am happy that they have placed it. One more compact ammo rifle that is not a damned Winfield for a change, and apart from the fact that it keeps the shotgun but this time with a longer barrel gives it some versatility.
It's not a good weapon, but a good addition.
This gun needs the centennial buff of slightly faster fire rate and reload. Don't touch the shotgun, don't touch the damage.

according to in game stat, lemat carbine slug has the same stat as the other long barrel shotgun. It also has a weird dragon breath that has the highest effective range but lower 10m damage compare to other long barrel.

I’ve always enjoyed using the Lemat for ammo pool. I think what I like about the Lamat Carbine, is it’s a low cost, not bad weapon. It has a slightly better muzzle velocity and range. It’s not a bad weapon to take.
I just started playing a week ago and found this gun from someone i killed and fell in love and started turbo-unlocking lol, fastest shooting speed and lowest recoil ive seen out of any main gun, i miss a lot so i need it
My issue with LeCarbine is that it has "what do you get the man who has everything" syndrome and you cant pair it with anything that improves your long range capabilities. The only sidearm ive found complements it well is the bornheim running normal compact on both and slugs on lemat giving you both better ammo pool and a point blank bullet hose for when the shotgun inevitably dosnt kill

In the handful of games I played so far I found it really suits my playstyle of flank and push, you can plink heads accurately and follow up with decent speed if you miss, and also have the option of going close quarter with the alt fire. Found it important to make sure that instead of playing your weapon, you play against your opponents. If they have long ammo and scoped, push in and let the shotty win the day. If they are shotty themselves, stay back and plink away at heads.
It's the best weapon in the game, im maining it so hard. If you take FMJ with Slugs its sooo good. Im not even taking secondary, I farm uppercuts from enemies xD
When you take an officer (arguably the best pistol in the game) and make it a rifle turns out it’s busted. When you take a lematt (arguably the most meh pistol) and make it a rifle turns out it’s meh. That being said the gun is fun to play around, pairing it with a long ammo pistol makes its a super reliable 2-tap machine. In general it feels average across the board, you can either pay range averagely or you can push averagely
Slug is a must for me

Why no slugs in the Carbine? it would buff the shotgun part for sure and with it its a full shotgun experience in my mind. only the fire rate of the compact barrel could be a bit higher
How did you not die at 5:06 I thought the concertina would have blocked the throw. It's happened to me on frag grenades. Weird, I guess the concertina bomb went through.
LeMat Carbine with FMJ and slugs, paired with a Sparks pistol with half poison is so insanely versatile. I love it.
i think if they either increased the effective range by a decent bit(maybe closer to 190m ish from its current low 140), increase the fire rate or both, it'd be in a good spot. Versatile, while still being useful, but while still having other guns that outclass its rifle and shotgun pieces.
I personally really like this, I never bring slugs because I usually don't like to use shotguns but the lamat gives me an excuse to use them.

I was wrecking with this gun today had 7 kills and was about to extract with 2 bounties but after I killed the last guy the game ended and said that I ran out of time, but the end screen only said it was a 22 min match, that was pretty frustrating losing the hunter and good rewards after such a good match
Did you have to Necro revive yourself? If so, that’s why. The game has a bug where it loses count and thinks everyone is dead so the server closes

lemat is pretty good for a solo player like me, carbine for med to long range engagement while having a Romero shotgun build in just in case of any shotgun is required within the range
Lemat carbons is by far the one of the most overpowered and underrated light ammo guns, it has zero recoil and an amazing iron sight I have never been able to wipe a full team of long ammo users until I had one of these in my hand

Technically only the 9 Ring or banded Armadillo is the only species that carries leprosy and only the 3 ring is the only one that can coil up into a ball. All the other species of Armadillo are normally blocky looking and can't roll up or carry diseases and only one screams, that is the screaming hairy Armadillo which can't roll up or carry leprosy but does scream like a banshee. Now you know.

I like the Lemat carbine, though I don't get the reason why its reload is slower than the pistol, which isn't the case on the nagant carbine. Slow rate of fire, odd recoil pattern and long reload? I want to like it, but it doesn't seem great for drawn out engagements, which compact ammo excels at.

I actually really like the Lemat Carbine. It just "clicks" for me in the right way, as certain weapons sometimes just do. I've had both good success and loads of fun with it. Certainly not a meta-worthy gun though
I bought a 2160p by 1440p monitor recently and it makes alot of a difference coming from 1920p by 1080p.
I want to use this so bad, but I prestiged before the event and now the LeMats ammo types are bugged, dragon breath is locked behind the carbine itself even though I already have the carbine, it doesn't progress further, which is disheartening because fmj and slugs are unlocked after, even blueprints don't progress the dragons breath
im a nagant officer carbine kind of guy so ill think that im gonna like the new lemat for sure :D
and remember a gun dosent have to be good to bring something new to the table imo

My one issue with the Lemat carbine, is not an issue with the carbine itself really, I just have no idea what to pair it with. I keep thinking a secondary lemat is just the best pairing for it?? Wich just feels wrong in essence. It is a beast with slugs tho, man I love it with slugs
