the ONLY reason I take Romero over a bomblance (sometimes) is for reload time. If they make the boltthrower trait apply to bomblance (as I think it should) it would be so good!
They shouldn't make bolt thrower apply to bomblance, I used to say it should before the special ammo buffs, but after the special ammo buffs bolt thrower should not affect bomblance, especially since there isn't anything you can do to make it faster
I really wish they would make the standard bomblance harpoon kill no matter what. It isn't like hunt is lacking in 1 hit kill weapons. The harpoon is already a combination of hard and lucky to hit. So why is a skill shot invalidated by a 2 cost perk

I think bow is good close up weapon and rather needs long range support than cqc weapon 🤔, so I mostly take some sniper weapon with it. But that said, after getting rushed with bow, quick change to lance might for sure catch sb off guard aaand I'm wiling to check it out for sure!

imho: fanning should be the same as a cut off shotgun of acc. Has nothing to do with any sort of skill or aim, you just press a button and everything in front of you dies
Not true. Which is why you rarely see fanning in higher mmr. Lower stars always rely on crosshair rng, fanning, and random buckshot rng spamming to win. But in high MMR, people forego fanning almost entirely and instead choose to aim every single shot and they aim for the head mostly. Like Rachta does. The problem with fanning is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Too unreliable. OP maybe in a three star lobby.
Fanning just like all things RNG is well... RNG. You can use it more appropriately at very close ranges to increase your odds of getting a hit, but plain and simple, the bullet can still go ANYWHERE within the crosshair bloom, which of course makes it very unreliable by nature. Once you are playing at a higher skill level and against others of higher skill, you will notice that fanning is SELDOM relied on, if even taken at all. Also just btw, I am not very skillful myself so I'm not trying to down-talk you here lol. Sometimes I like using fanning as a panic button for unexpected close range encounters, but I certainly would never consider it as "just press a button and everything in front of you dies," as you put it. For every time I get a quick double tap with it, I can also get a double whiff. It has a potential role within a loadout just like every other option, and is not some "insta-win" easy mode button... if it WAS, you would see the sweatier players using it consistently, which we don't.
