vivek daniel you shouldn’t make flippant comments on a war you don’t understand. It was a very complex civil war which India had a large hand in fuelling. A lot of innocent Sinhalese, Tamils and Muslims died at the hands of various groups from both sides. The IPKF also slaughtered innocent Tamils.
What i love about Mark is that he goes beyond tourist areas and actually makes the effort to understand local cultures. He is so culturally enriched from meeting all the many different groups of people around the world. He is a true human of the planet.
