    I love the morning menu printable! Thank you so much for all of the work you've put into it and willingness to share it with us! I'd love to see a close-up of your schedule, I can't seem to zoom in enough.

    I would love to see a day in your homeschool. Start to finish. Nothing formal just how it all works. I am juggling 4 kids one of them 1.5 yrs. old and I’m trying to figure out how to stay on the ball with school this year without having my little guy feel shoved aside. Thanks for all your tips and tricks!❤

      I would love to show you that but I have found if I film day in the life videos it kind of consumes our school day. I honestly stress out trying to film and school at the same time and in the past have gotten snippy with my kids due to the stress so I promised myself I wouldn’t do it again so just taking a few clips throughout the day is usually all I do. I wish I could figure out how to do both but until then I can’t.
      That being said with littles I highly recommend toys that are designated for school hours and just having them work/play close by. Here is a video I did on further tips that might help ruclips.net/video/aS0wOeUMbdk/видео.html

    I got “what your kindergartener needs to know” a couple months ago and have been adding each of the grades as I find them on thriftbooks and such, they are so cool! Even the older versions! I haven’t seen the preschooler one yet

    We don’t gather as a family 4 school we gather together with our older kids as we don’t expect our youngest to join us as it’s probably too much for her, she joins us sometimes tho and plays alongside us!!! We have a morning basket for our youngest!!! We do gather for lunch after our surf/ beach time!!!

    Are you enjoying the Kindergarten enrichment? I’ve been thinking about ordering to use with my kindergartener (and big brother in grade 1). Hoping I’ll be able to easily get the books from the library.

    • @LifeintheMundane
      @LifeintheMundane  Год назад

      Yes I am BUT I’m honestly not using it to it’s full potential. If you can get the books from the library it’s really not expensive so I think it’s worth it. But there are art and science elements we’re not even touching bc of time and energy. But I like that those are there if o want them

    • @ashleighe7311
      @ashleighe7311 Год назад

      Thank you for the response. I like that those elements are there as well but it’s definitely difficult to get in all the good things we hear about and have to find the right balance of things for our kids. Looking forward to doing this as time allows. It’s been sitting in my cart for a while so I think it’s time to checkout!

    Do you think I would be able to homeschool an autistic little one? Are there homeschool programs designed around that or not so much? He will be 5 in February, completely non-verbal (is in Therapy part time) I have too many fears over putting him in a regular school & not being able to communicate….❤

    • @LifeintheMundane
      @LifeintheMundane  Год назад +1

      Yes you can definitely homeschool kiddos who are non verbal and autistic. The HSLDA would be a great resource for you and they offer phone consults to help you find the right curriculum for your special needs kiddo. Here is a video about more of what they do ruclips.net/video/yyEaxZqF4AU/видео.html

    Just curious, how long is a typical school day for you?

    • @LifeintheMundane
      @LifeintheMundane  2 года назад +2

      We start at 8:15 and finish by 1:30so around 5 hours but most of the kids are not working that whole time because I rotate through who I’m working with.

      @@LifeintheMundane I am going to watch your vid! I think I need to change up the way we school.. it seems like it takes us forever! And we definitely don’t get to all the things. It’s hard balancing kids at different ages and cutting out the distractions. (They distract themselves, especially the youngest) how do you keep the youngest entertained when everyone else still has school?
