Precision work, sir! I am electrician, l always envy persons who can execute such smart and precision operations. It looks like a microchirurgie to my mind.
They used to be a well-respected brand and they innovated a lot; they even provided the base movement for the famous Breitling calibre 11. Unfortunately the company does not exist anymore...
You are a true artıst sır, I enjoy your videos immensely and I also think I'm going to take up this hobby since my violin playing days will be over soon and I need a new interest.
Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment, Kypros! I really appreciate your support 😊 Definitely give watchmaking a try, it's a very rewarding hobby :)
That is a beautiful movement in such pristine condition, finding them like this NOS is so rare. What do you intend to do with the watch? If I were you, it would stay in my collection - no way would I let it go! I like your filming style, you earn one more subscriber.
Your watchmaking skills are inspiring. Your such an artist. Thanks for the silent videos. The world is to noisy as it is. Can you tells us a little bit about your background? Where were you trained? How long have you been at it? I was sorry to see that you only had two videos. I look forward to a hundred more. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for your kind words, your comment made my day! Already working on a new video :) Watches have always been my passion, I am self-taught and have been restoring watches for many years!
Hi, thank you for your comment! I use the following oils: For Pallet Jewels: Moebius 9415 For Canon Pinion and Keyless Works: Moebius 9501 (blue grease) For everything else I use the Moebius 9010. The red oils are Moebius HP-500, HP-1000 and HP-1300
Great video! Pure craftsmanship. I inherited a Buren from my grandfather. It's priceless to me, but can't seem to find the same model online to check it's value in the market. I wonder if you could help out ?
Great work! I would consider to repair those rusty hands or change them because rest is in perfect condition. And missed I something or movement holder screws and clamps are missing?
No commentary needed, but more captions to let us know what's going on in relevant parts (or on thought processes as we see it on video) would be nice.
Hi, thanks for the feedback! I did in fact clean them, but the magnification is so great, that you can see things that are impossible to see with the naked eye. To the naked eye it looks completely fine :)
Heaven. No music no chatter, just the sounds of a craftsman. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback 👍🏼
Great video it’s always a plus when there’s no music just pure workmanship love it
@MrFelix002 thank you for watching ☺️
That watch especially that movement are a work of art, great video. Thanks.

Never heard of this brand until now, but it looks like a very well made watch.

The watch is absolutely staying in my collection, such a beautiful piece!
New, old stock. The Burens I have are not so pristine. Good restoration. Decent timepiece.
Thank you so much for watching ☺️
Subscribed. There is beauty in silence
Thank you for support 🤩
Have a great day ☺️

@@MagicWatchmaking you're brilliant!!!
Very nice work. Try to set the camera on manual focus as autofocus seems to make some noise.
I've now changed the location of the camera, so it should not happen again!
Gorgeous watch. Where did you get one in such pristine condition?
Hi there, I got lucky and found it on Ebay!
Can you please tell me what the tool is for removing the barrel arbor? I have never seen it but it looks very handy! Thank you!
Bergeon 30610
Thanks@@MagicWatchmaking
Beautiful watch. They don’t make them like that any more.
1966 Hamilton bought Buren Co.
Thank you for watching ☺️
What kind of oiler are you using for the pivots? I've never seen that kind before
I use two types: I use an automatic and a manual oiler. Both are from Bergeon. Hope this helps!
Hey i really like your video and i want to become a watchmaker.
What’s oils do you use and which part’s of the movement.
Thanks great video

Thanks for video. It is great! Ihave an old Buren Grand prix... Do you think that you can renew it? How can I send to you and how much it can cost?
I don’t offer any customer related services.
Thank you so much for watching ☺️

Thank you so much! Unfortunately I don't have any tips, other than to observe the market to find a similar model...
Parabéns pelo serviço 👏
Thank you!
I've just subscribe, and did I notice a "dummy" screw on the train wheel plate?
Thanks for the subscribe! It is indeed a dummy screw, it's typical for watches this age!
Buren Watch Company was based in Büren an der Aare, Kanton Bern in Switzerland. 😎
Thanks for letting us know 😊
I like that watch! Looked like it had no wear in the movement too. I give your channel a chance and subscribe :-)
Thank you for the support! I appreciate it :)
What size barrel arbor pin vise do you find you use the most?
0,75mm
Great work! I would consider to repair those rusty hands or change them because rest is in perfect condition. And missed I something or movement holder screws and clamps are missing?
Appreciate your feedback. Thanks a lot. The movement holder is fix in place by tension. No need for screws
Hand rust?
Hi Mike! The rust is not visible with the naked eye, but this amount of magnification is very unforgiving 😅
Wonderful dial, so minimal.
Yes, it is really beautiful 🤩
Great video thanks, maybe try overlay a commentary if u can, subbed.
Thanks a lot. I try my best and have to learn a lot about videography :)
No commentary needed, but more captions to let us know what's going on in relevant parts (or on thought processes as we see it on video) would be nice.
You have not cleaned the needles.
Hi, thanks for the feedback! I did in fact clean them, but the magnification is so great, that you can see things that are impossible to see with the naked eye. To the naked eye it looks completely fine :)
A bit ham-handed especially picking up the ratchet wheel by a tooth
Thanks for sharing.
