Today is a power glutes workout so be ready to crush some strength work! This workout consists of an activation series with our glute bands, strength exercises with your dumbbells, and a burnout set that we will repeat through the workout!
I used anywhere from my 10 pound dumbbells up to my 25 pound dumbbells for this workout.
I also used my bench for glute bridge exercises and my glute resistance bands.
The exercises:
1. Lateral Leg Lift Right

Hands down one of my favorites! Glute muscles shaking the entire 2nd half and abs felt it too...I will definitely repeat this one.
Sydney, you really hit on something with this program today. The warm up was a beautiful way to open all the right joints and muscles in prep for the selected exercises. The progression after that was perfect, so that by the time we hit squats and dead lifts my heart rate was up and everything was warmed and ready to really kill it. By the end my legs were shaking so much it made me laugh out loud. Thanks for making fitness accessible to all income levels. You're doing God's work.

I was nervous for a minute as well. Then I finally saw it posted but when I went to play it on my TV it kept saying the video was private so I had to watch it on my phone. Wasn’t the best experience but still got it done.

this has got to be the best lower body workout we have done in a while! I've got an ankle injury and can't do lunges right now so I was nervous this morning. So glad I got up and got in the right mindset to crush it. Sydney never disappoints

I was waiting for the workout but it did not get posted at 5 a.m. Was worried. It has happened before where they had some equipment issues. Thursday is always the rest day. I ended up doing a 30 min HIIT cardio. I will do this workout tomorrow. Thanks Sydney.
I workout at 4:30 am, so I did a quad workout from the Power program & a 10 min slider burnout video. Oh man, so tough & good. I'll do this glute one tomorrow.

I think I say this about every single day of ENERGY, but man, that was hands down my new favorite! I was up ready to workout at 4am this morning, and the video wasn't up yet so I did an oldler 30 minute resistance band video. I saw everyone raving about this one once it was posted so i decided that it was must to do after work today. I am SO glad that I did it! Absolutely loved it! Thank you Sydney! Adjustable weights-perfect! When you’re on the floor you can have both weights you might need right by you. Any fast transitions are between weights and bands.

One month post surgery I can finally do an energy program workout. I have to stick to lower body bodyweight, with modifications but it feels so good compared to not being able to do anything !
I had surgery 5 weeks ago, so I am right there with you.
I'm having surgery in 2 weeks and I'm glad to see updates like this! I've been worried I'm going to lose all my progress.
I had surgery 2 weeks ago and I am getting antsy so doing some of the lower body stuff with modifications.
@@elseab9777 I totally understand! I had 9 pins put into my right wrist. I haven’t been able to do anything that requires any weight being put on the wrist and I can’t hold weights on that side. But I have tried to keep my routine as much as I can with modifications so that, if nothing else, I don’t lose motivation. Good luck with your
@@elseab9777 I'm still a little worried about losing progress because I won't be able to hold heavy weights for a while..or even put much pressure on my upper body for that matter. The other day I did an old Sydney bodyweight legs and when it came time to do lunges, I was quite pleased to find my core stability and leg strength seemed the same so that makes me feel slightly better. I'm sure the fact that we are already exercising will help us recover faster. 💪
