Its good to know that it happens to even the really experienced guys. Id like to see you play the Ki-84s, especially the Ko I feel like that thing is an absolute monster
We still miss, even easy shots at times. His aim is far better than mine though to give him the credit he deserves. There's honestly a few things that set apart experienced vs inexperienced players : 1. trigger discipline, 2. reading the map and positioning of the enemy, 3. knowing the characteristics of different planes, 4. not making common mistakes (like following people vertically without the energy to do it, staying in headons, etc.) Those are the main things that set experienced people apart. There's also plenty of times where you will get cucked by RNG if you aren't using a vaporizing gun like an ADEN or Type 5 no matter what. Also want to point out, there are also plenty of people who have tons of experience, but never actually bothered to improve or take the 4 things I mentioned earlier seriously.
@@mites7 I think it should be pointed out that trigger discipline should be used relative to your ammo. If you are having ace games in a P-47 while finishing with about half your ammo unused, then you might want to consider spraying a bit more when it is appropriate. Why make 5 passes on someone when you could also finish the guy in 3?

@@TransportSupremo The HEF-I on the USAF 20mm seem to be completely bugged, for a long while now. They do less damage than the AP-I or AP-T rounds. At least in the protection analysis HEF-I like shoots out 3 pieces of shrapnel more or less that deal a very insignificant amount of damage, 16 grams of explosive ye right. Although usually you won't notice much difference in the belts because of the very high ROF, the difference for me tho is that 1 single AP round can pierce the entire fuselage (killing the pilot or engine in one hit) whilst the HEF-I will just blow up on the skin of the aircraft and do no significant damage most of the time alone. The ballistics on the AP rounds might also be slightly better but not sure, they work well on pillboxes as well with 53mm pen. Interestingly enough tho, it's the complete opposite for USN aircraft, their 20mm HE rounds are amazing as they actually work and explode. Their AP is also significantly weaker as well...

I wish I had a consistent enough result in the Sabre F-2 to warrant the 21k repair cost it has. I really like the plane, a sabre with cannons is really a nice combination, I've grown to dislike .50 cals a bit as they fail me in the times I really need a kill in one pass, whereas cannons are much more consistent at dealing at killing in a short time. Although I suppose that's universally true for most people, as there's many examples of planes with more cannons being suddenly placed several BRs higher than the base plane.

Would you consider doing a 1v1 series like Grownlingsidewinder from DCS? I know you mention how you should fly against other jets at the tier but, maybe if you are up for it you could organize a 1v1between multiple props/jets of the same tier and talk ab out how you would go about engaging each individual in a pure 1v1 from the same altitude till the deck. Who knows maybe Gaijin sees it and makes a new gamemode FRESH CONTENT
Defyn, glad you are in a good place mentally. IMO you are the best WT content creator, because you really teach people how to become better at the game. Also remember, if you get burnt out, you don't owe us shit! Take a break, play something else!

Why do you choose stealth/armoured in that order for ammo? Is air targets not better with explosive mass? I always dont know which to bring on planes
Armored feels a lot more consistent but I prefer stealth because you can't see it

Would you consider doing a 1v1 series like Grownlingsidewinder from DCS? I know you mention how you should fly against other jets at the tier but, maybe if you are up for it you could organize a 1v1between multiple props/jets of the same tier and talk ab out how you would go about engaging each individual in a pure 1v1 from the same altitude till the deck.
Who knows maybe Gaijin sees it and makes a new gamemode FRESH CONTENT

Why no boosters? IMO they are manageable at min fuel and give a plus at certain speeds.
Even through I'm a whisky pilot, I don't break that often.

The rounds are that fast, I think they travel at around 900m/s
I know exactly what you mean about the low self image and stuff cause I have that issue too. But like you're one of the best WT players out there and you're pretty much the only air WT players I watch. I'm glad you can get past the negativity, that's probably the biggest barrier I have to start being a content creator.

That Yak-1 probably summed up the brain of most Air Rb players. They go headon, 5-10 seconds later they've forgotten about you and get hosed down.

i was one of the guys saying that we would love to see some of your mistakes as well. people learn from mistakes, and i bet your mistakes are on another level then normal peoples mistakes. if we can see the process of your learning process, we might learn better? i might be wrong. its not that we want to see you failing, we want to see you growing :) its nice that you overcome that.
i personally have similar things, f.e. when i played battlefield 4 in a tank, and if i didnt run 50:0 or better, then i was furious... thats not healthy.
