I feel like the remastered version somehow made the game easier because I remember being in early 60's in the game and shuyin put up a good fight, but played again in ps4 and was in level33 and was so damn easy (unless it was because I sucked back then)
It all has to do with the Mascot Dressphere itself being stupidly broken for all characters. With abilities like Auto-Protect and Auto-Shell, Ribbon, not to mention high base stats it makes pretty much any fight a breeze. A "Paine" to get but worth it.

@LegendofLuigi703 personally I just took advantage or Paine's full throttle dress sphere with sword dance and easily won everything in the endgame
