Repairing an antique thread spool sewing box

I found this dandy little spool carrier in an antique shop the other day. It has some cracks from drying. So I figured I would fix it with glue using toothpicks.
I apologize for the video, I am experimenting with new lighting and new tripod, and that's why I didn't notice my hair getting into the frame.
Next time will be better.
