I had to realize also that after my husband threw me out and broke me .. threw my brokenness God showed me he released me.. I also then waited for 3 1/2 years and gave my life totally to God and waited for the right equally yoked man. I gave myself healing time. And this year God sent me my Godly Husband.. I had to close all doors to the past so God could bless me.

I snagged "Bait of Satan" when I joined a Rock youth group around 2019 and got "Killing Kryptonite" shorty after. I have been wrecked since last night when you visited Rock Family! (1/23/24) 😭❤ God is so faithful.🤲🏽🙇🏽♀️ The way you looked over the room and it felt like you zeroed in on me, I felt Holy Spirit so strong in my heart and spirit!🔥 The Lord has delivered me from so much (traumas, hurts, addictions, etc), I give Him ALL the glory, I've been transformed into a new creation, and I felt Holy Spirit nudging me during the altar call. I hesitated to approach the altar at first because I was asking Holy Spirit if there is still something within me that I haven't laid at the cross... and I mean truly laid down. Then "unforgiveness" hit me and I began walking towards the altar!🙇🏽♀️ I know Holy Spirit was guiding you because you directly pinpointed my issue when you said "someone with an issue with their right leg, their knee...you're being healed right now in Jesus name." For years I've walked, sat, and lived in chronic pain with my right knee, I had many physical therapy sessions, prescribed medication that I was not taking regularly (oops!), and all that was left to consider from my orthopedic doctor was surgery and I'm not at that point and have believed for the healing touch of Jesus for a long time. When you spoke the words of healing in Jesus name, I felt it instantly! The pain was gone!! I woke up this morning with no pain even when it began pouring rain 🌧 my joints still didn't flare up! I could walk and stand without the constant pain I'd have day in and day out. GOD IS GOOD! And he's using you and your beautiful, powerhouse wife, Lisa! WOW!!! I appreciate and love what you both share so much! I take notes and hang on to ever word!❤ I also wanted to add last night what brought me to the altar was a reminder of while the Lord has been doing a great work within me, I was still clutching unforgiveness of an abusive ex from over a decade ago! As tears were pouring down with my eyes closed, the word "forgiveness" was highlighted and you immediately said something to the effect of "someone needs to forgive that person, whomever wronged you because Jesus forgave you" I was wrecked!! This morning a cutting feeling in my heart woke me up out of a deep sleep and there was a ringing in my ear like I'm not used to. As I was getting ready for work, my heart was poured open.😭❤🙌🏽 There was weeping and sobbing, repenting, and drawing closer to God, and for the first time, from my lips poured praises, forgiveness, and blessings on this person. It was genuine, it was the Holiness, the overwhelming and powerful love and fear of God like you spoke of, and I felt something break off! I can't explain it all and please forgive me for going on and on, because I'm REALLY impacted right now, but I speak blessings, grace, love, the Holy fire upon you and Lisa, and God's mighty hand over you both and your family! Wow, I’m stuffed. 😂 I’ve left things too soon because I didn’t think I could handle the chaos any longer, I’ve held onto things too long because I submitted to the influence of religious spirits, and I’ve not served others well because I was afraid that I’d miss out on doing my own thing. I’m praying with the Beveres that 2024 is the year I finally get the timing right on all of these things. I’ll be very happy to let go of some painful memories if that’s part of the process. Happy new year everyone. Let’s build some bridges and get over things.

Yes! I’ve had such a hard year and it’s impacted my whole family. My wife and I are intending to start a business full time in March, but my need to delay that effort after hearing things in this broadcast.
A few people spoke that scripture over me in Isaiah 43, within the last two months. Then before they even spoke it over me, the Lord had been speaking that into my heart to just let it go, because something is up ahead. It came after a really difficult rejection that really shook me. Then, I would get images of me fully turning my back on the past. Thanks for this powerful message.

Here are my notes: Four ways of exiting: • Exit without explanation: Genesis 12, 1: God says to Abraham to leave his home and move to a land he will show him. • Exit with expectation: Isiah 43, 18-19: Do not remember the former things, behold, I will do a new thing - If you look back, focus on the past, you can't behold and recognize what God is about to do. • Exit with excellence: Luke 16, 12: If you are not faithful with other people's things, why should you be trusted with things of your own? • Exit with embracing: Philippians - You can't fully embrace your next until you let go of your last.

I felt like God was speaking to my heart through this message. Looking at how good the past was has been something I've done constantly, mostly coz of how different my present is. I first met you when you shared your destiny, is your wilderness which changed my life. However, have to being married for 31 years and my husband kicking me out and thought it was greener on the other side. I can’t let go of the past. I’m so angry I feel so bitter, and I know I can’t move on until he’s healed me, but I don’t know how he will heal me. I’ve been debating whether to sell my house that I’ve lived in for 23 years when my children grew up, I’ve just had them home for Christmas and I just feel that I should sell and start a new chapter. It’s something inside of me just can’t let go. I want to do it God way I really do I’m struggling to find him in this mess.

John, I just watched another Podcast, but with your son. That Podcast also resonated with me as this one does. I just commented on it a few mins ago before watching this one. As far as this Podcast, it resonates with me because God is calling me to move from my home state of DE. I truly believe and the signs seems to be facing (perhaps God’s compass) towards TN. I do know it’s for training and I believe it’s to Evangelize. However, I do not know where yet, how, or with who. I believe there is someone specific God wants me to mentor under. I just don’t know who yet. So I feel like I can relate to Abraham as you mentioned in Genesis 12:1. I prayed for the Lord to send me to a video that would resonate with me and He answered. I just have to wait upon the Lord for direction.

Several years ago God gave me a word, but I was in a place where, honestly it hurt my feelings that He would give me a word like “abandon”. All areas of my life were in turmoil because of health issues. I tried, halfhearted to do it but it broke my heart…I felt abandoned. The following year I asked for a prettier word…He gave it to me “embrace”. I understood then-but because I had not abandoned anything there was no room to embrace anything new. I left both words alone. This year I have prayed about revisiting “abandon & embrace”and watching this confirmed it for me.
Excellent teaching to end 2023 .. going into 2024. Thank You to you precious people/teachers. You are blessing us since I've read 'Bait of Satan' approx 1998 and bought most of your books since. The Beveres are our 1st choice of recommended teachers.
My husband left me on Christmas because he was using drugs again. 2023 was a very hard year for me due to his drug addiction, lying, and stealing, drug dealers showing up at my home. He went to rehab then came right out back and started doing what he did, alcohol and drugs. When he left me on Christmas, my heart was completely shattered from pain. I prayed, fasted for my marriage for his deliverance like no other but I heard God say to me “I’m protecting you.” We are now getting a divorce because he said he doesn’t love me anymore. I had friends tell me I have No Biblical ground for divorce but I know that I do because God loves me and doesn’t want me abused or scared for my own life. I started trauma therapy. This video gave me more hope for my future. ❤️
The best bit about Christmas is Christ…& I don’t have family who want me @ … as I’m a Christian, but I get a lovely warm welcome from friends or neighbours on Christmas Day 😊 And my thoughts re John the Baptist!…He ‘may’ have been preaching in the wilderness for a decade or more, or less…we don’t know, as the Bible doesn’t say. I’m going to hold on to the good things God has shown me in 2023…There’s always room for improvement! But, we’re not to forget His mercies, which are ‘new’ every morning! 🎉

This lesson really gave me clarity on Isiaih 43:19 as this is the word the Lord gave me for 2023. And while I was excited for it, as the year unfolded I found myself trying to reconcile the crazy things going on in my life with this scripture and applying it to my life. I have learned, through the trials I went through last year, that to get to the new things also requires breaking the old you down, which is painful. But in breaking that old wine skin, that's when the new can come out. Being aware of those exits can now help me to discern the different entrance and exit seasons that I will experience, and this gives me peace. Thank you both for this.

I am fully aware of who both of you , but I have never watched your podcast (which is another reason why I know that I was led) my current place of employment is going through a 80% lay off and the last forecasted day there is 1/15/24 . I have felt a peace about it but at the same time there is that feeling of where do I go from here. At 53 starting a new seemed daunting, however, I KNOW that whatever is coming will be Exactly what God has planned for me. So when I was scrolling and saw this title I knew I had to watch it. I tried to let go with grace when I lost the love of my life, I held on with hope of what God was leading me towards. Buts it’s been 30 years of hell since then. I can’t stand the life God has forced on me, and I really struggle not hating God for creating me. This hasn’t been a season, it’s been decades and God had nothing for me but unrelenting pain. Everyday is hell, and God then withheld everything that could ever make it worth enduring. How do you look forward to what God has for you in the future when all He has had for you for decades were things you wouldn’t wish on another living soul? All I have is despair at the thought of what God will force me to endure next.

He keeps calling and says he wants to come back to us and I haven't really let go. This is God's word to me. Time to leave the past behind. Can't be standing at the corridor.
This is a great teaching and SO timely! The Lord has been talking to me about “Big Doors” opening new opportunities opened with the kingdom Key of Forgiveness. Put forgiveness as the key in the keyhole of your door and The Lord will open and align and release His best for 2024. Repentance for wrong thinking and forgiveness of those who betrayed us and did us wrong are both essential for obedience and opening of new doors and opportunities. God is SO good!❤

We can not exit one season or hold on to the past and think we are ready to embrace and go forward in the new season. In Ministry we tend to hold on to those past high lights and need to know that God is moving forward..... and i will stay behind only with past memories. You can not build your future on memories if you are not willing to let go. Thank you for this! I think that was a lot of good info about exiting and a little about an entrance in light of the exit… but I would be so blessed to hear more from the Bevere’s about the entrance. Like what to watch out for in our circumstances that God is placing for us, tactics of the enemy during the beginning of a new season, challenges that are unique to a new season… stuff like that. I felt I heard that more about the exit than entrance in this episode. As always though, still a super fruitful time listening to anything you share!

I release my soon-to-be former spouse and the hurt that marriage caused. I have repented of my wrongs and look forward to the new thing AbbaFather is doing in my life.

"Quiet quitting." Thanks for this episode. I'd never thought about it before, but that's definitely food for a prayer. What do I need to leave behind to enter the new season? Looking back (with bitterness and unforgiveness) is a big one.
Yes! I’ve had such a hard year and it’s impacted my whole family. My wife and I are intending to start a business full time in March, but my need to delay that effort after hearing things in this broadcast.
A few people spoke that scripture over me in Isaiah 43, within the last two months. Then before they even spoke it over me, the Lord had been speaking that into my heart to just let it go, because something is up ahead. It came after a really difficult rejection that really shook me. Then, I would get images of me fully turning my back on the past. Thanks for this powerful message.

I love listening to John and Lisa. I got introduced to them some years back through my mom who was being ministered through their marriage course. Now fast forward several years later God has graciously and miraculously restored our home. Our household continues to be blessed by their teachings and I always look forward to the next episode.
Great conversation, first time I tuned in. Very important topic. To be cognizant of God's leading, to exit a season in His timing, not ours. Here are my notes:
Four ways of exiting:
• Exit without explanation: Genesis 12, 1: God says to Abraham to leave his home and move to a land he will show him.
• Exit with expectation: Isiah 43, 18-19: Do not remember the former things, behold, I will do a new thing - If you look back, focus on the past, you can't behold and recognize what God is about to do.
• Exit with excellence: Luke 16, 12: If you are not faithful with other people's things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?
• Exit with embracing: Philippians - You can't fully embrace your next until you let go of your last.

I felt like God was speaking to my heart through this message. Looking at how good the past was has been something I've done constantly, mostly coz of how different my present is. It hurts me to see how worse off I am presently. But God is faithful, has always been and this message was something He shared with me years ago but I was too hurt to listen. I pray to Yeshua that I am able to take it in and obey Him

I first met you when you shared your destiny, is your wilderness which changed my life. However, have to being married for 31 years and my husband kicking me out and thought it was greener on the other side. I can’t let go of the past. I’m so angry I feel so bitter, and I know I can’t move on until he’s healed me, but I don’t know how he will heal me.
I’ve been debating whether to sell my house that I’ve lived in for 23 years when my children grew up, I’ve just had them home for Christmas and I just feel that I should sell and start a new chapter. It’s something inside of me just can’t let go. I want to do it God way I really do I’m struggling to find him in this mess.

John, I just watched another Podcast, but with your son. That Podcast also resonated with me as this one does. I just commented on it a few mins ago before watching this one. As far as this Podcast, it resonates with me because God is calling me to move from my home state of DE. I truly believe and the signs seems to be facing (perhaps God’s compass) towards TN. I do know it’s for training and I believe it’s to Evangelize. However, I do not know where yet, how, or with who. I believe there is someone specific God wants me to mentor under. I just don’t know who yet. So I feel like I can relate to Abraham as you mentioned in Genesis 12:1. I prayed for the Lord to send me to a video that would resonate with me and He answered. I just have to wait upon the Lord for direction.

Several years ago God gave me a word, but I was in a place where, honestly it hurt my feelings that He would give me a word like “abandon”. All areas of my life were in turmoil because of health issues. I tried, halfhearted to do it but it broke my heart…I felt abandoned. The following year I asked for a prettier word…He gave it to me “embrace”. I understood then-but because I had not abandoned anything there was no room to embrace anything new. I left both words alone. This year I have prayed about revisiting “abandon & embrace”and watching this confirmed it for me.

My husband left me on Christmas because he was using drugs again. 2023 was a very hard year for me due to his drug addiction, lying, and stealing, drug dealers showing up at my home. He went to rehab then came right out back and started doing what he did, alcohol and drugs. When he left me on Christmas, my heart was completely shattered from pain. I prayed, fasted for my marriage for his deliverance like no other but I heard God say to me “I’m protecting you.” We are now getting a divorce because he said he doesn’t love me anymore. I had friends tell me I have No Biblical ground for divorce but I know that I do because God loves me and doesn’t want me abused or scared for my own life. I started trauma therapy. This video gave me more hope for my future. ❤️
The best bit about Christmas is Christ…& I don’t have family who want me @ … as I’m a Christian, but I get a lovely warm welcome from friends or neighbours on Christmas Day 😊 And my thoughts re John the Baptist!…He ‘may’ have been preaching in the wilderness for a decade or more, or less…we don’t know, as the Bible doesn’t say. I’m going to hold on to the good things God has shown me in 2023…There’s always room for improvement! But, we’re not to forget His mercies, which are ‘new’ every morning! 🎉

This lesson really gave me clarity on Isiaih 43:19 as this is the word the Lord gave me for 2023. And while I was excited for it, as the year unfolded I found myself trying to reconcile the crazy things going on in my life with this scripture and applying it to my life. I have learned, through the trials I went through last year, that to get to the new things also requires breaking the old you down, which is painful. But in breaking that old wine skin, that's when the new can come out. Being aware of those exits can now help me to discern the different entrance and exit seasons that I will experience, and this gives me peace. Thank you both for this.

I was led to this message by The Holy Spirit. I am fully aware of who both of you , but I have never watched your podcast (which is another reason why I know that I was led) my current place of employment is going through a 80% lay off and the last forecasted day there is 1/15/24 . I have felt a peace about it but at the same time there is that feeling of where do I go from here. At 53 starting a new seemed daunting, however, I KNOW that whatever is coming will be Exactly what God has planned for me. So when I was scrolling and saw this title I knew I had to watch it. What a Revelation from Our God. Thank you for your obedience in speaking on this at this appointed time .❤
I tried to let go with grace when I lost the love of my life, I held on with hope of what God was leading me towards. Buts it’s been 30 years of hell since then. I can’t stand the life God has forced on me, and I really struggle not hating God for creating me. This hasn’t been a season, it’s been decades and God had nothing for me but unrelenting pain. Everyday is hell, and God then withheld everything that could ever make it worth enduring. How do you look forward to what God has for you in the future when all He has had for you for decades were things you wouldn’t wish on another living soul? All I have is despair at the thought of what God will force me to endure next.

Thank you for this message. Its been 6 years now since my son and I have been separated from his dad. His dad is now married with a 6 month old daughter. He keeps calling and says he wants to come back to us and I haven't really let go. This is God's word to me. Time to leave the past behind. Can't be standing at the corridor.
This is a great teaching and SO timely! The Lord has been talking to me about “Big Doors” opening new opportunities opened with the kingdom Key of Forgiveness. Put forgiveness as the key in the keyhole of your door and The Lord will open and align and release His best for 2024. Repentance for wrong thinking and forgiveness of those who betrayed us and did us wrong are both essential for obedience and opening of new doors and opportunities. God is SO good!❤
I graduate this year so I pray that God would lead me as I navigate this new chapter opening up in my life.

We can not exit one season or hold on to the past and think we are ready to embrace and go forward in the new season. In Ministry we tend to hold on to those past high lights and need to know that God is moving forward..... and i will stay behind only with past memories. You can not build your future on memories if you are not willing to let go. Its like holding on to ine thing; refusing to let go of the other and the are pulling in different directions while you are tearing up inside. God bless you both for reminding us all to let go!! And let God take us to the next season of growth.

Thank you for this! I think that was a lot of good info about exiting and a little about an entrance in light of the exit… but I would be so blessed to hear more from the Bevere’s about the entrance. Like what to watch out for in our circumstances that God is placing for us, tactics of the enemy during the beginning of a new season, challenges that are unique to a new season… stuff like that. I felt I heard that more about the exit than entrance in this episode. As always though, still a super fruitful time listening to anything you share!
