Thanks for a great video. If you ever have a chance to get the old Brasso, you'll be very surprised to see how well it cleans and polishes. A good alternative is Brasso made in UK or Mexico. They have pretty much the original formulation. They're a little more expensive but well worth trying.

Brasso says on its bottle that it can polish aluminum, but I've only found that it can truly polish copper and copper based alloys such as bronze and brass.

Looks good......both of them......but duracoat edged brasso i think.
Looking to fix some curb rash on my buick tomorrow (I didn't do it......previous owner did.) What grit sand paper should I start and end with? Just trying to smooth it out and get rid of the discolorization. Should i seal it with something? Thanks......like your channel. You are growing fast.

      Thank you for the feedback.
On your wheels id depends on how deep your curb rash. If you are 1mm+ you may need as agressive as 400 grit, then work you way up to 600, 800, 1000, 1200 or 1500 if they are polished, you can use a metal polish to get the area shiny again.
Your factory wheels are clear coated to make clean up and care more manageable. I would recommend scuffing the entire wheel with a red scotch Brite and then applying clear over the entire wheel. You can possibly blend a repair, but you will probably have better success and a more even finish doing the whole thing. 2K spray can clear works really well.
I have damage on mine from the PO and when I took it in for service at the dealer. I will address it when I swap wheels😅
