Carolyn Wonderland---"Georgia On My.."

Texas musician Carolyn Wonderland puts her mark on classic blues number "Georgia On My Mind" during her bands' set at the 2013 Brandon's Revue held in Boerne Texas. This song was dedicated to the late Georgia Galey, a Cibolo Nature Center volunteer who passed away shortly before this year's revue......

Aside from ray charles this has to be the best cover of this tune Carolyn just nails it "perfectly"

My older brother once took me to the locked back door of a stand-alone lounge where Dennis Yost was nailing Ray Charles on this one. He soon became lead singer for The Classics IV, and "Spooky" singer ...

Carolyn performed this song as a tribute to Georgia Galey, the Volunteer Coordinator at Boerne's Cibolo Nature Center, who had been killed in a tragic car accident a few weeks prior. Powerful song, incredibly performed, that touched everyone who was still mourning the loss of a truly wonderful human being. Thanks again Carolyn.
