What a delight Carolyn is with this song. She reminds me more of Janis Joplin everytime i hear her. I believe she will go a long ways in this world of the Blues.
I was there that night! Hard not to make references to Janis & Bonnie, two of her Blues sisters. BTW Eddie's Attic is an incredible place to listen to music.
I've loved this woman since I first met her at Dan Electro's. She has more by accident than any other woman has on purpose. She's a seriously talented, warm, and sensitive person. We can all take a lesson from Carolyn Wonderland.
57th Like. LOL. I always did want a 57 Chev, but this singers voice sure has about the same amount of power as a V8. Good Song. Keep up the excellent work.
she sounds so good i found her name on amazon while i was buying a beth hart cd and i m glad i came here now i have a new favorite singer right now im rocking to beth hart grace potter and now ms wonderland
Its not just her singing voice. She plays guitar, trumpet, mandolin (check her out on "The Wind Cries Mary"!), does jazz vocals, and can whistle the birds out of the trees. She writes most of her own music, and the covers she plays always fit her as if they were written for her. Check her out live, she just gets better & better...
Is it just my imagination, or has the state of Texas produced more than it's fair share of singers and songwriters and musicians? The tradition continues with this young lady and is in fine hands.
got to know the music of CW when i saw her performed on imus (ain't nobody's fault but mine) just only this morning, she is soooo like janis joplin...the more i listen to CW, the more i like her music.
anybody know where to get her earlier stuff .i saw her in 98' at the sidecar pub in houston. bought 2 cds and hadem autographed by the whole band ,but lost them in the divorce . great music on those disks. help me find em please

WOW! What a talent. Not since Janis have I been turned on by a female blues singer. In fact, I can't say that Janis hasn't been reborn!
