  • The cost was a big reason I went through with purchasing this, it's a handline. it's not complicated. You can make one yourself if you don't want to buy one.

So good to see this, essential skills. I did this more times than I can remember as a teenager in the early 80's.

I think it's a blast. Especially how small it is. So easy to carry it places.

I'm interested in learning how to make traps for humans that are non lethal. Just something to keep them away.

Nice fire, fish looks so good. Just cranked up the woodburner last night, thinking about some woodburner chilli or stew tonight.

next time you use that little hand held fishing line.
grab yourself a straight brance about 3 foot long. put a v notch in the far end of it, lay the line into the vnotch, take advantage of 3 foot worth of leverage to toss that line out another 10 foot.

Why didnt you take the flower of the yarrow? Are they scarce in your area? For those who dont know, its a great plant for health. Especially for women. But whatever your sex is it is a good idea to select a month in the year and drinnk 2-3 cups every day for that month. That will reduce the risk of all kinds of deseases. I also would argue that its quite easy to identify. I think you should talk a little about identification in your videos Cody.

I left the flower because in this particular spot I was in it hasn't established much and I'd like it to seed some. I also have already collected a lot of flower heads this year and I don't feel like I need to take any more flowers from this spot.
I do typically talk about identification more, but this video was running long at 18 minutes and I felt like it was gettint too long already

The 3 rocks in a row may be grave markers in a pinch at the time ?

That's a interesting thought. This property has a lot of history. But I'm not sure.
