Durango & Silverton: 2024 Winter Photographer's Special

This is the annual Winter Photographer's Special, pulled by 481, a D&RGW Mikado built by Baldwin in 1925. This is the last Winter Photographer's Special to be pulled by a coal-fired engine as 481 will be converted to oil. Most of the video includes a night session with 481 and its sister 480 on Feb. 10th, then moves forward with the daytime special on the 11th.
