    I had a pin brake on my steyr pro x magazine the pin is used to hold the other pin in place and tension the magazine .Easy fix and u can get magazine spares ie spring/pin's from steyr uk .Magazine build is a little bit like an FX magazine and don't bin ur magazine get the spares New spring £6 new mag is £80+ No brainer .I think my mag broke on the quick release button press as the pin round goes very fast and hits the other Mag-pin then it snapped in half ie De-Tension and release of magazine. I believe this is very very RARE!! I just got unlucky.

    Have you heard of American air arms? They’re Evol range are unbelievably over engineered. I can’t seem to find one in the u.k but sure it’s doable just really impressed with what I’ve seen and thought it maybe of interest.

      Yes i believe they made a full automatic air rifle looked like an FX . Also did a rather tough looking and well made carbine a friend in the Netherlands owned ,he was very impressed by it . I think krale in Netherlands sell them but they no longer export to the UK

    Hi,
    I have in the past suggested an easy solution to the problem of pellets falling out of a pre loaded magazine, it costs nothing as long as you get the correct sized bottle top. Just go to the Steyr Facebook section.
    Also...why sell your original pro x ????
    Oh and I also assume that you know that heavier pellets than the standard 8.4 odd JSB’s stay in perfectly.
    Also, I trust that you’ve got a very understanding wife/partner to allow you to have such a vast collection of air rifles 😀

    • @fieldsportcymru4636
      @fieldsportcymru4636  3 года назад

      Thank you for the suggestions. The .22 cal mag seems to hold its pellets much firmer than the .177 one i had . I sold my original standard Pro x to buy a leshiy 1 rifle and an IOR scope .

    Hi bud
    Well well well as the man say's
    Steyr pro x, to me the ultimate air rifle, the one to purchase when you've saved hard for the year, did'nt realise the mag's failed to hold the pellet's in all calibre's
    Quite a big issue at 2 in the morning, rain, wind, it doe's make it fiddly and a bit of a pain, opening up the L2.
    Main quarry would be rats, rabbits and the old grey squirrel, we have very few grey's high 90% range, maybe 5% grey, i picked a young red male up off the road, it was in fantastic condition a real solid little animal, clipped by a car or flushed by the wind behind a 40 foot trailer, one eye damaged with loose bones around the scull, took it to the vets to record it with daerd and the vet said "what do you want me to do with it" needless to say, road kill is not registered through veterinary practice's which is pretty sad they dont come together to protect nature under threat, probably because they are not getting paid for it.
    What is the cost of a Steyr pro x second hand ?
    What cost for L2 through spain ?
    Were you aware that in Russia it only cost £750.00, against the cost from spain, are we getting ripped off in Europe ?
    I don't think it can be exported directly from Russia, which is very unfortunate isn't it.
    Take care, stay safe, and keep it lit.👍 my friend.

      About the Pro X magazine. Try seating your pellets all the way in, so they’re flush with the surface facing the barrel breech. Then they won’t fall out when carrying the magazine in your pocket etc.

  • @eyesintheskies

    I’m currently torn between the leshiy 2, steyr hunting auto 5 scout and Agt Vulcan 3 (700mm)
    Have an hw100 so maybe the steyr is not needed. Ideally a Vulcan and a leshiy but can only afford one realise they’re quite different but what do you think?

      Steyr pro x I got mine second hand .What I found that blow my mind is the gun is so accurate The trigger is nice .Steyr pro x my spoil any other gun for me I use next sadly. mine likes H&N 4.50 I used 4.52 and gun would not cycle the next shot.H&N pellets Also dont fall out when u try too reload like diablos try H&N pellets!!

    • @eyesintheskies
      @eyesintheskies Год назад

      @@matthewyates1719 the Steyr I was considering was the 5shot auto rifle.
      But the lightweight leshiy is just more flexible, easy to change calibres , customize etc... & Fun factor! Also I struggle to shoot straight off hand with the 3.1kg hw100 ( need to join a gym!!!). Realize it's not all that heavy but I can't keep it still.
      Think I'm steering towards the Vulcan 3 though.
      Hear what your saying with a great gun making anything else u shoot seem pointless. If it's not as accurate as a weihrauch in not interested 😂

    • @matthewyates1719
      @matthewyates1719 Год назад

      leshiy(classic) uk importer had them fixed by Air fective tuning as their were problems with the 12 footpound uk version their are post online about it from the importer uk not Spain .leshiy 2 some people say they don't shoot too good but I don't know the classic is nice

    • @eyesintheskies
      @eyesintheskies Год назад

      @@matthewyates1719 well I'm thinking the leshiy 2 sure it's not gunna be Steyr accurate, but for the size of the barrel they're pretty impressive.
      Only heard good things..
      But think the semi auto thing might wear off & the Vulcan 3 is cheaper and much bigger, 700mm barrel!
      So leaning that way, but for a backpack gun I think the leshiy is one of the best, that and the American air arms evol 22 but there a bit harder to find in the u.k
