4:26 -- The bosses do not give out extra lives on repeated plays. They only do that the first time you beat them on a save. Badass game, thanks for shining a little spotlight on it. I've happily 100%ed it, Neo's room is looking pretty spiffy. Might actually be my favorite Dreamcast game, and that's no small feat.
There's something kinda charming about the level design, general aesthetic and vibes of this game but I can defo see why it was forgotten to time. People weren't ready for NEO lmao
I've only seen screenshots of this game in the past but it always looked kind of intriguing. Now that I've seen this video, I can safely say this game's aesthetic is my jam. Goddamn does this game have a cool vibe! Guess I gotta give it a shot now.
Great video! Was surprising to see a glimpse of my name in the video. Super Magnetic Neo is one of the most cool, but obscure games/ speedruns ever. Glad to see a good video about it for once!
Yup I figured lol I'm just getting into his work myself and there's definitely alot of hidden gems so it's funny I found this channel at the time I did because your videos seem to cover exactly the type of content I prefer these days so thanks!
Exactly the developers designed the game around it’s difficulty and they balanced the game around that. Super Magnetic Neo is a fun, challenging, charming 3D platformer with a unique gimmick and solid level design. It’s no more challenging than the original Crash Bandicoot.
This is the game that LITERALLY introduced me to Y2K futurism! Honestly, something very interesting about Neo is that he's like thicc due to detail, especially his- *GYATT!!!!!!!!!* lol sorry but still, nice video!

I loved playing this and Chu Chu Rocket as a kid. 💕
This is my #1 childhood game. This game made me realize I had dyslexia.

Genki was the less-than-AAA developer of its day.
Bring released on Dreamcast didn't help with its popularity either.
Great Review #cuppatea
