Found this channel as a stats major a while back. Stayed for the informative content. Will continue to follow your journey as I try to walk a similar path as yours. Thank you for your videos!
@@nujii please do 🙏🏼 my content is taking a shift anyways since I graduated, will be more focused on job search and improving as an analyst! Also feel free to join the discord (link in description) where there’s tons of people in statistics or graduated and talk all the time
I recently discovered your channel, and it has been quite beneficial to me as a statistics student. One conundrum I face is that I do not want to work in data analysis or data science because programming is not my strong suit. Is there anything that will allow me to work without having to rely so heavily on programming?
My first bachelor's was in EE but am going back for a bachelor's in either data science or stats. My question: You previously advised against majoring in data science, but you also said you don't use 90% of your stats degree. So why might majoring in stats be better than majoring in data science? Also, is it possible to get a Master's in Stats with a Bachelor's in Data Science?
I’m definitely still learning as I go, however I still believe what I said before. Knowing statistics is going to be beneficial to you regardless of what you decide to go into. I still think college data science programs (bachelors) are lacking. To answer your second question, yes that is definitely possible!
