Hahaha - I remember! When my daughter was born I thought - "Oh good, she'll take a nap and I can get things done around the house!" Then she'd fall asleep on me and I'd sit there, holding her the whole time and the housework just didn't seem so urgent anymore. Enjoy your beautiful new boy! So happy he's finally here! Seeing Allie shining with joy totally blesses my heart. I nursed on demand with both of my babies and it was an every two hour thing during the day for a couple of months. They both slept long periods at night which was great and made the days so much more enjoyable and easy to manage. Definitely love the look of the front with the porch. Great call in adding it. And hopefully no more daily snow removal during the winter. It's a win for both summer and winter. Well done.
Billy is so adorable. Leo is such a great little artist. I do have a suggestion for his masterpieces. After his work is displayed on the walls or fridge, of course. Put page protectors in a large 3 ring binder, you can keep his artwork (Billy's too) forever. I put the date on the back & an explanation of what the picture is before I slip them in the page protecters. I have 5 very large binders of all my daughter's artwork from daycare up to kindergarten plus all the beautiful artwork she made @ home. It protects it from fading & damage. My daughter is 26 & we love (& laugh hysterically) looking at them. They are among my most cherished items. Your family is beautiful. Your house is amazing. I can't wait to see the finished house.

Wow it looks amazing. I was on a cruise with my Nephew and family. The parents were out, I was in the cabin with my 14 month old great nephew while he was napping. He woke up so I held him on my chest for around an hour while he slept. I was in HEAVEN !
Oh Allie, you are so right. Cuddling with a newborn is so wonderful! Enjoy every moment for, as you know, they grow up so fast! I've had the privilege of cuddling with my own two and then with my 5 grandchildren. Watching you with Billy brought back some wonderful memories.

When I was a foster mom of medically fragile infants a few of us were given mechanical bassinets that would mimic the heartbeat and movement of a pregnant mom. I’d adjust the movement for the time of day; even the sleeping hours. My babies were so comforted in these beds mimicking the womb. Billy is so blessed to have his mechanical chair. How I love watching him. So excited the roof of the deck doesn’t block your view. It actually frames it like a giant painting. Can’t wait to see the windows installed. Next time! Allie you are not biased, I fully agree that having the baby sleep on you is the best!!! My youngest is 14 years old, and I just sometimes long for just a few moments when she was an infant. Don’t get me wrong I am loving the teenage life most days.
Those deck beams are going to be perfect for hanging plants and swings, hammocks and chairs. My kids loved playing on hanging hammocks we swung them and wound them up and twirled them And now my grandkids love ❤️ them.

I’ve been watching you kiddos since you returned to the USA bc of the pandemic. But, this has been a monumental highlight again, (kids/babies, your village of Love/family & friends, wedding, garden at your Mom’s,, dogs, chicken coop, etc.), a Porch !!. I have a front one and a back one too that I Love. I was in Utah for the first time visiting my Brother in Payson over the past few weeks (Arizona & Colorado). Definitely thought about you guys. Continue to enjoy your journey.

Two things, I'm happy Leo found painting! It was my favorite kindergarten thing AND I'm happy Tren has a watch that will "watch" over him and call 911 if he can't, if he falls.
In Australia we get a fine if we use our mobile phone while driving. Hands free is ok but we can not hold a mobile phone whilst driving. Allie little Billy did not take his eyes of you while you were talking to us, so adorable 💕💕 Kids and stickers LOL they find it so amusing to stick them all over us, our grand daughters aged 4 and 3 could spend hours playing with stickers.

Paid maternity leave is mostly standard throughout the EU, I am from Croatia, you are paid for one year as if you were working. Also, every child with Croatian citizenship has health insurance until the age of 18, regardless of whether the parents are employed or not. Also, if he continues his education, it is paid while he studies regularly. The only thing he has to pay is supplementary health insurance, which comes to around €150 per year. Of course there are problems, not everything is ideal, but it is very good to know that you will not go bankrupt if, God forbid, your child has more serious health problems. And no, we have not been living in socialism for over 30 years. Capitalism, market economy but paid maternity leave for 1 year. 👍
Yeah here in the US paid maternity leave is 6 weeks on average if she has a good employer. If not the it's unpaid maternity leave and if the mother is not employed she can apply for government assistance which is usually only for the child which doesn't help out the mother financially. On top of this they have taken away a mother's right to not have children in this country and are talking about forcing women to have children when they can't take care of them. Go figure...

Trent- I suggest you check your Utah laws for driving - it is illegal to use your cellphone handheld while driving - seriously this law has been effect in many states and provinces for years now after so many related road accidents many which were fatal - for the safety of you and your family and others on the road - use hands free device
Completely agree. If Trent can't use his Cellphone hands free, then he shouldn't be using it at all while driving. Trent has been pushing all boundaries of late and most of it has been of unnecessary risk to himself, the guys and yourself Allie. He really has to start realising his safety is paramount being a husband and father to three children. Josh can look after himself but Leo and Billy are totally dependent on him as their father. It's unfair to Allie also.

Wow it looks amazing. I was on a cruise with my Nephew and family. The parents were out, I was in the cabin with my 14 month old great nephew while he was napping. He woke up so I held him on my chest for around an hour while he slept. I was in HEAVEN !
Oh Allie, you are so right. Cuddling with a newborn is so wonderful! Enjoy every moment for, as you know, they grow up so fast! I've had the privilege of cuddling with my own two and then with my 5 grandchildren. Watching you with Billy brought back some wonderful memories.

When I was a foster mom of medically fragile infants a few of us were given mechanical bassinets that would mimic the heartbeat and movement of a pregnant mom. I’d adjust the movement for the time of day; even the sleeping hours. My babies were so comforted in these beds mimicking the womb. Billy is so blessed to have his mechanical chair. How I love watching him.

Allie, I have held my own babies (3) and now a granddaughter. It never gets boring, even for Grampy. It’s such pure love and the time passes so quickly. Enjoy.

Allie you are not biased, I fully agree that having the baby sleep on you is the best!!! My youngest is 14 years old, and I just sometimes long for just a few moments when she was an infant. Don’t get me wrong I am loving the teenage life most days.
Those deck beams are going to be perfect for hanging plants and swings, hammocks and chairs.
My kids loved playing on hanging hammocks we swung them and wound them up and twirled them
And now my grandkids love ❤️ them.

But, this has been a monumental highlight again, (kids/babies, your village of Love/family & friends, wedding, garden at your Mom’s,, dogs, chicken coop, etc.), a Porch !!. I have a front one and a back one too that I Love. I was in Utah for the first time visiting my Brother in Payson over the past few weeks (Arizona & Colorado). Definitely thought about you guys. Two things, I'm happy Leo found painting! It was my favorite kindergarten thing AND I'm happy Tren has a watch that will "watch" over him and call 911 if he can't, if he falls.
In Australia we get a fine if we use our mobile phone while driving. Hands free is ok but we can not hold a mobile phone whilst driving. Allie little Billy did not take his eyes of you while you were talking to us, so adorable 💕💕 Kids and stickers LOL they find it so amusing to stick them all over us, our grand daughters aged 4 and 3 could spend hours playing with stickers.
Trent also drives hands free on the steering wheel while talking on the phone on this video.

Paid maternity leave is mostly standard throughout the EU, I am from Croatia, you are paid for one year as if you were working. Also, every child with Croatian citizenship has health insurance until the age of 18, regardless of whether the parents are employed or not. Also, if he continues his education, it is paid while he studies regularly. The only thing he has to pay is supplementary health insurance, which comes to around €150 per year. Of course there are problems, not everything is ideal, but it is very good to know that you will not go bankrupt if, God forbid, your child has more serious health problems. And no, we have not been living in socialism for over 30 years. Capitalism, market economy but paid maternity leave for 1 year. 👍
Yeah here in the US paid maternity leave is 6 weeks on average if she has a good employer. If not the it's unpaid maternity leave and if the mother is not employed she can apply for government assistance which is usually only for the child which doesn't help out the mother financially. On top of this they have taken away a mother's right to not have children in this country and are talking about forcing women to have children when they can't take care of them. Go figure...

Trent- I suggest you check your Utah laws for driving - it is illegal to use your cellphone handheld while driving - seriously this law has been effect in many states and provinces for years now after so many related road accidents many which were fatal - for the safety of you and your family and others on the road - use hands free device
Completely agree. If Trent can't use his Cellphone hands free, then he shouldn't be using it at all while driving. Trent has been pushing all boundaries of late and most of it has been of unnecessary risk to himself, the guys and yourself Allie. He really has to start realising his safety is paramount being a husband and father to three children. Josh can look after himself but Leo and Billy are totally dependent on him as their father. It's unfair to Allie also.

I agree with you Allie, having a newborn up to about 6 months old sleeping on your chest is the best feeling! I am a grandma and have sat for many hours without realizing it with them asleep! It is such a wonderful feeling! Enjoy and remember to enjoy every moment !😊❤
