    I have the 75D compact and not the PCR version I am going to order some cool custom grips for it and I found that the grips are the same on both so it doesn't really matter when ordering them. I also have a P-10S and 2075 RAMI and I Love them all! They shoot great and I conceal carry my 9mm RAMI! 👌

    I'm glad I found your video! I just bought a 75D Compact (not PCR) yesterday not being aware that there were two different models. The one I got was all black & black trigger, with decocker. They had it labeled "75D Compact". I paid for it and took a pic of the left side, and then went home to start my ten day wait (in CA) lol.
    In the meantime, I was looking them up online and saw that there was a PCR version.
    Looking at the specs, there seemed to be a discrepency.
    The contradictory info I was seeing was that the regular 75D compact had a steel frame (and aparently a black trigger), and a regular safety, but no decocker. The PCR models I found had a shiny metalic looking trigger and alluminum alloy frame and the decocker. So, I was wondering if I had some oddball version or something or that the store may have mis-labeled the pistol.
    But I guess not. It looks like I got what intended to buy - the CZ 75D Compact, streel frame, but with a decocker instead of safety. I'm totally fine with that.
    Thanks for the video!

      @PC-uh6hk Год назад +1

      I think you'll be glad to have the decocking lever because you don't have to take a safety off, all you have to do is pull the trigger and as you do so, the hammer moves back like any double action and fires and although the first pull is heavier, you won't notice as much as forgetting to move a safety lever.

    • @wbwills2
      @wbwills2 Год назад +1

      @@PC-uh6hk I agree. I don’t like manual safety’s .1 less thing. + heavy DA & safe handling is good with me. Had to try a micro 9. 365xl. & don’t get me wrong. Better than expected & continues to impress. Revolvers have been my thing for a long time. Not as comfortable with striker guns. Don’t care for safety on either.

    • @apico
      @apico Год назад

      Hi, I was mistaken... Well actually the gun store was mistaken. They didn't have it labeled in the case as a PCR. It does have a decocker and I guess aluminum frame. Anyway my mistake

    • @kenf2662
      @kenf2662 9 месяцев назад

      But you can forget to decock when re-holstering that's where most of the dis-charges happen. For me give me a real safety that I can memorize every time It moves in & out of the holster. Not just having to remember decock half the time to re-holster, and still the decocker is not a true safety (I would not re-holster fast just in case). Still after this with Training all the CZ 75 models are safe.

    • @zachmiller9175

      The firing pin retainer pin can get deformed by dry firing, cajun gun works makes an improved roll pin that holds up much better for 5 bucks.

      I haven’t purchased a holster specifically for the 75D compact yet, but I do have a versa carry holster that works. Just remember to also search for a holster that works with the 75D PCR compact. If I find one, I’ll make a video on it. Meantime, if you find one please let me know.

    I've seen a couple of reports of this model having difficulty handling hollow points due to the fact that European pistols are not designed for them because they are not legal there. Of course you can believe every thing you read on the internet but I figured I would check with actual owners. Any comments? Thank you.

    Great, accurate, soft shooting 9MM handgun...I have had mine for about six years. Try not to dry fire it too much to keep from damaging the firing pin retaining pin. They are easy to replace...many RUclips videos on the subject.

      Thx. Think I have heard there’s better ones on aftermarket. Usually things are engendered the way they are for a reason. I like to know why I’m changing something, & why mfgr didn’t ,before I swap anything. On cars ,guns or anything else.

    • @Lee-rq1ek
      @Lee-rq1ek Год назад +1

      @@wbwills2 I'm not suggesting the pin be changed. I'm suggesting not dry firing it too much without some protection on the hammer. The hammer slams forward on an empty chamber, and the firing pin strikes the retaining pin and causing damage to the pin. In turn, this can cause malfunctions and the pin will need to be replaced. Ask me how I know !!

    Like & subscribed. 1st time viewer. I want one of those guns,& am trying to figure out a couple things before starting to hunt one down. 3 first questions I’m trying to figure out is #1 try & find a older one(Ceck mfgd)or are newer CZ/USA made just as good.?.#2..whats up with the plastic guide rod & is it a good/bad thing to “upgrade”to SS aftermarket guide rod .?.#3 your sight,%100 blind & how long.?.don’t mean to be nosy. I have a friend that has a son who was born without a optic nerve (?).the way he explained it to me is(perfectly good eyes & brain minus the connection..#3 is your business and I’m not trying to be up in it. Michael (my friends son is so interesting to hang with & talk to. He’s more capable than plenty of the other kids I know his age. Or any age for that matter. Interesting is all. Anyhow,if you could be any help with questions #1 & #2 that’ll be a good start. Thx & take care.

      Thank you, I appreciate it.
      Now there are a lot of differences between the old VZ/CZ50-70s pistols and the new, which I enjoy both. The old DA triggers a really rough to some compared to the very smooth and very refined new pistols. Both are dear to me, but for different reasons. I have a couple videos I believe in a playlist covering them. Although I do not have any of the polymer new CZ’s.
      As for the guide rod, I think it’s personal choice. I’ve never had any issues using the OEM guide rods.
      I started going blind in 2007 and by the middle of 2010 I was 100% blind. I have no issues talking about my vision and how it affects everything, if you have any questions, just drop me a comment. It’s hard keeping track of what I’ve discussed, but check out some of my playlists and see what you find. 😆
      Again, thank you for checking this out, I really do appreciate it. There’s nothing you can’t do if you set your mind to it.
