  • Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said that 'anti-migration politicians' should join forces and aim to become a powerful bloc within the EU. His government recently launched campaign posters all over the country featuring EU Commission president Jean Claude Juncker and Hungarian-born billionaire George Soros, who they accuse of promoting a pro-immigration agenda.

Nearing my old age, I have spent my life in 'democracies' and I can say this - the usage of those who claim to be 'democratic' to undermine countries, both in the cultural, economic, and sovereign sense, is a cancerous thing that has created a reaction that will not go away.

Moreover, no matter how good a system is, if the men who lead that system are corrupt or treacherous, the system fails. The same for a people, because, if their politicians are good, and the system is good, but, the people under it are lazy and lawless, that situation does not work, either. Hello from Romania. I agree with Hungary protection of its culture and borders, all countries should do that, especially against illegal immigrantion, also I appreciate hungarians stance agaist the west leftism wich pretty much destroys the western culture and identity... good job standing against that to the hungarian people! Hovewer I see that Viktor Orban intervenes to much in romanian affairs, he is sponsoring a hungarian parralelism in vulnerable magyar minority's in Romania. This people become more and more isolated, fearful and hateful of Romania, romanians and any foreigner for that matter. Now i agree that romanian government was weak on trying to integrated this people, all they did is to offer them all kinds of benefits (full magyar teaching schools up to high school in almost every large city of Transilvania, theaters exclusively magyar, magyar cultures days and so on) that actually resulted in segregation instead of integration and cooperation, they should instead offer them more economic opportunities and easier ways to learn romanian. Now Orban came every year in Romania, in unofficial visits and all he did is sustaining hungarian parallelism: hungarian sponsored media for the minority that only talks about Budapest on nothing about the country you actually live in, sponsoring szekely farms in Szekely land which again, leads to more segregation, because those farmers only sell in Hungary. I'm not against Hungary helping its citizens, on the contrary, we do help our fellow moldovans too, but what we witnessed is they produce an isolated minority which was already kind of isolated due to the language barrier... Now some of you will point out that romanians, are evil and are oppressing the hungarian minority... Well i can say that some stupid people exist here (they are a few and just loud, not violent) that hate hungarians, most of us DON'T. I have magyar friends in Cluj and Oradea, many years i had a magyar girlfriend, but man you cannot discuss with Szekely people, even young ones... first of all they don't know romanian or english, they are quite scared or hateful of romanians or foreigners in general. I tried to approach some years ago, I even had some acquaintances from the area, and all they shouted was that they don't wanna learn romanian, because they don't wanna be assimilated and it's funny cause they wanna live in Cluj where more than 80% of the population is romanian. There was this case in a village in Szekely land, Ditrău village in romanian, you may know, where all the village gathered with the mayor and priest agaist two Srilankan legal migrants that worked at a bakery... they were so vindictive and aggressive against TWO legal migrants with a finite working contract of 5 years i believe. Please understand that romanians don't want illegal migrants too, but these guys came for work at they bakery because the patron didn't find people willing to work elsewhere in Szekely land, and they came LEGALLY. A lot of racism unraveled from the szekely community towards them, I never saw that before in Romania, all this people consume hungarian sponsored media offered by Orban government. To make matters worse Viktor just posted the greater hungary globe which added fuel to the fire even though most romanins didn't take Iohannis (which was pure dumb populism) statement seriously and all the media basically criticized Iohannis, but i worry some romanians and most hungarians from Szekely land become more and more hatefull, and inevitably this leads to friction, and bad political decisions based on populism and so on. I fear that some day we reach a critical point and I don't want that... What do you guys think?

The shame is that we can all see that the muslim part of African / Middle east immigration from the last decades is a disaster, but most of our politics refuse to acknowledge that, and because of that, more and more people are against all forms of immigration despite the fact that things are ok as far as muslim Africa / Middle east is not concerned. it's not just an islam problem because the assimilation of the muslims from asia (indonesia for ex) work good. It's not a problem of race because the same problems come with either black or non-black muslims. I would rather have 3 uyghurs comming in my country instead of each 2 muslims from Africa / middle east.

@SlypherSpoons Miért egy nagyot? Nem mondtam semmi rosszat vagy rasszista a magyarul. Your idea that Hungarians are superior to Brits reminds me of what Hitter used to say. Actually all the Hungarians I know are Great people except perhaps you and Mr Orban. Its the idea that one Nation is greater than the other , a sick Ideological.Yes, refugees should be and must be controlled by the EU and some of them have not earned the right to belong to the European Community. By the same understanding we should ask the question, aas Hungary earned the right to be part of the EU are you willing to make concessions for the benefit of us all. ? I know that not all Hungarians think like you but if your country continues towards this Dictatorship with Orban there will be no other solution than to use The Hungarian Refugee Policies on you, let you leave since you guys are so intelligent you don't need us. Europe will miss the UK when they are gone they won't miss Hungary. I,d like to know what has Hungary contributed to the EU until now ?? I know do you ? Your assumption that I am British is so off track, very much like your Illusion of Hungarian Superiority .
