    I've heard of using salt to get more from the aluminum dross. Maybe sometime save the dross from a couple melts and recover as much as you can from that, then try it again and use tablesalt. Just a question I've had for a while now when I watch these types of videos. It looks great. 10/10. Would hang it on my tree if I had it.

    What size crucible do you use mostly

      Hi there for aluminium I normally use #8 but for the heavier metals like copper and brass I use #6

    Borax is better for brass.
