@@FilmJunkieOutdoors I have always wanted to turbo my 97 tj 4cy. I first watched this video 3 months ago. By the end of the video i went on eBay and ordered a turbo. A few days later my turbo arrives. This thing was massive! 40 lbs. I had ordered a gt45 turbo. Then I mounted it on the jeep. Had it hooked up without the intake tubing, SSE, no wideband yet. But as I watched videos and did research I said man this is too big. I have pictures of the gt45 turbo mounted on my 4cyl, it looks crazy lol.
The turbo Jaimmy is using is a t3/t4 hybrid turbo from eBay. There is lots and lots and lots of t3/t4 combinations as they can pieced together to work. So when you go on eBay and order a turbo do not order a 700+hp turbo like I did that is bigger than the car battery haha. I would recommend you you order a t04e t3/t4 turbo. i just got mine last week. A t04E is what Jaimmy has. It is a t3/t4 hybrid. t4 compressor. t3 turbine. plus, it has an internal waste gate.
I am always coming back to this video or Jaimmys other one and asking questions because he already did it. Jaimmy's turbo jeep sounds nice. This video is what finally made me start my build. He has the same year, color and fenders as I do, and it is turbo!
