There's so many signs to look for from Cuddling with you to walking up to you wanting to be picked up ! We all know about what to look for when stressed so now lets see what it looks to have a happy bearded dragon !!

You do know that they just do that to get warmth in your neck
I would argue that your dragon falling asleep on you shows they have a very good bond with you. You are big and scary and if they actually fall asleep on you it’s incredibly comfortable and doesn’t see you as a threat
100%! It's a nice feeling when you've reached that level of a bond with them

My beards from day one had boundaries issues and would constantly want to climb on me and cuddle. I also had to learn his little dance before he poops
But it was more like, like it or not, it was my buddy and I had no choice in the matter
My baby falls asleep on me every night then I have to place her back in her terrarium enough she wakes up and looks at me like mom no!!! Some weird reason she doesn’t like heat she loves 70-80’s. I always tell her she isn’t a beardie.
Sleep is any organisms most vulnerable state. The fact that they enter such a vulnerable state on your lap (or chest or whatever) shows they are really comfortable with you
I love that so much. Our girl is just a bit over a year old and in the evening she will voluntarily climb right on my chest and she does her comfy wiggles. Makes me wanna tear up. She could go anywhere, sit next to me or jump off the couch (which she loves during explore time) but when she's tired she seeks out my chest and it's just so ridiculously cute
Ahhh my beardie gave me the side eye all the time when I took her out of the enclosure to explore. She passed in late 2021 and watching this video makes me realize that she was a lot happier with me than I thought. Thank you.

We have a little beardie and he seems very happy 🥰 he’s so calm and chill with us. He fell asleep on shoulder for the first time recently and he will snuggle in a blanket and sleep on my daughters lap! He likes to roam and around and explore when he’s out of the enclosure too! We love your channel!!

I have a beardie that’s almost a year old now and Mushu loves her food, loves adventuring and does sit with me but has never fallen asleep on me. I think I don’t let her out enough for snuggles but she is always happy to sit with me when she’s done exploring.

So crazy this sounds like me. My beardie's name is Mushu. He is 4 years old and I honestly don't think I let him out enough or interact with him enough. He will hang out with me for a little but then will run around my room and then go to one of his favorite spots to fall asleep. He's never fallen asleep on me before either. I always worry that I'm not being a good enough beardie mommy.
Mines is a 2yr old boy name mushu also! Lol he's the sweetest big baby ever, you can't forget the noisy part 👀👀👀

I got mine an hour before my beardie passed out on my leg. Has been 3 days, it is just so weird.. I got a baby. Zero aggression, zero running away from me, he only runs and jumps and goes crazy when exploring. Every time I hold him he just falls asleep immediately on me. I love him.

My little beardy does the cutest thing, when he sees other people he’s all like WOT and snuggles up with me on my neck giving me the “ snuggle” eyes 👀
At night my dragon will eat his roaches, look around for awhile, then snuggle under the blanket on my lap. I look under to find him fast asleep. Loving this. Thanks for your video because I wasn't sure if he was totally happy.
It's much healthier for the dragon if they eat during the day and have no food 2 hours before bedtime.
That's awesome. So cute. But PLEEASE make sure he has access to basking and warm lighting after he eats

Lots of love, just keep in mind your baby cannot digest his food properly without a minimum of 2 hours of proper basking Temps. Not trying to jump your back, or rain on your parade. It would just be devastating for your baby to undergo impaction due to a poor digestion routine.
thanks bro this really gave me some comfort after my baby's passing yesterday... she got to be only 2.5 years and died of inoperable stomach and livercancer... she allowed me to do all these things and was always curious and huggy and gave me kisses, ate from my hand, let me pet her, slept with me.. man she hated water but she could be completely fine if i would whisper her that it would be okay... i really really miss my little Froggy and i remember watching your videos all the time on tips on how to take care of her. thank you so much Elion... much love... will be watching again after some time when i have the peace to have another baby...

I've been keeping these little monsters for two decades now and I still love them to death. My male just hit puberty and he's terrorizing every living thing in the house. 🤣

My first one absolutely loved me. The second one, not so much 😂. I saved him from a bad situation so it's a lil hard for him to trust. He is also fully grown and set in his ways lol. I can tell that he is happy and loves to be around me, he just doesn't like to be held very much.

@@lordelion9312 Thanks so much for your response!!!! I hope so because he is loved so much!!!!. He grew up never being held, was only on a diet of dried veggies and dead crickets and was in a basic tank with just paper bags for the bedding. The worst part was the dangerous heat rock that he had. He now has a fully functional habitat, eats organic fruits/veggies, along with live beetles and mealworms. He also gets a thawed out pinky once a month. Im so happy by his weight gain and his trust in me. I can only hope that he can continue to be happy, living out the rest of his days in our family.
Maybe you could start with a leash for him? It would give him the ability to build some more trust and set his boundaries? Their personalities really open up and shine when you give them freedom to roam.
Plus the leashes sometimes come with these cute little wings...oh my lawrd. Lol.
I love letting my little man run in the grass, just make sure it's your own so you know there's no pesticides or chemicals.
That bearded dragon mask gets me every time. Especially the side eye, lol.
Got my beardie as a baby at petco last year and he has NEVER shown a sign of aggression and he's super weird cus he hates strawberries but had NO issue immediately eating his veggies as a baby

I got my first bearded dragon almost two years ago, best choice i have ever made, she has never bit me before. She cuddles with me and poos on me or next to me. Im so happy that she is happy!

My beardie Spyro has never shown aggression even when my young nephews would pull on his tail playfully..he's been super chill from the day I got him as a one month old baby...also if he needs to poop while chilling on me/my shoulder he will get down and he walks as far away as he can from me before he poops. I like to think he has very good manners towards his mommy.

I just got a baby dragon from a reptile show today, and she’s adorable! I’m not sure exactly how old she is, just that she’s a baby. She’s very calm being held and I’m excited to get to bond with her.
She’s very curious and inquisitive, I get the feeling she’s gonna be a handful..
how is she now?
@The Mango she’s doing great, nice and big and chunky (but healthy chonk). She likes to sit on my shoulder while I do chores and she loves interacting with people and she often interacts with my dogs and cats through the glass. She’s a very sweet girl, we named her Nugget

I’ve had my bearded dragon for about a year now and he’s never aggressive with me! It’s amazing and I love him! 😊
I got a baby yesterday and he explored and surprisingly isn't giving signs of stress really at all, no signs of aggression but it let me pet it's head alittle before he went to sleep tonight :)

My first beardie was named Mushu. He sadly died of age. That crushed me. Got a new one named Zayl. 2 years old and he's super lovey.
I still trip how my beardy even when young would take a bite of salad, then a bug, then a salad, bug. It's so interesting lol.
My bearded dragon always snuggles up on me and we take a nap together. Then I wake up and see poop on my pajamas, and my beardie trying to eat the blanket. 😂 Gotta love beardies.

- thank goodness she poohs the same time of day! was pooped on once, almost vomited! Ceaning up after each pooh is enough!
- she doesn't want to let me go when I tuck her in, and walks into my hand to be picked up!
- she IS curious! And wants to check out *everything*
- OMG, HUGE cuddler! Crawls up to tuck into my neck, or put her nose on my jaw, falls asleep (with her little blankie on her, it gets chilly in the house much of the year up here!) and wiggles into place, likes getting stroked down her back too!

I've had my dragon for almost 4 years. The only time he gets upset is when I bring him inside from a day out playing.
He must really love being outside! I have a dragon like that too sometimes giving him a bath right after has helped him calm down
So in short, if my beardie gives me a massage, takes a poop on me, gives me the side eye and then falls asleep we’re good. 😂 sounds like love to me.

By all that you said, I have a happy one. She loves to cuddle up. She lays under my robe while I play video games, but lately she has started climbing up til her head is touching my neck right under my chin. The problem is I have a goatee and for some reason she starts raking her claws through it and then she will bite it, hard nuff to hurt and pull hairs out. Also I don't appreciate the pooping on me. Few things smell as foul as dragon poo!
I am blessed with happy full grown dragons.. I just stumbled across this while trying to figure out how to tell the sec of my new baby dragon… looks like using flashlights against the tail is the best bet.. I know I have two full grown males.. hoping for a female.. they can be on my bed why I’m gaming and they run up to me and lay on my leg or back… haha I’m so super happy because I seen some people got the bad end of it..
