Great video. I love laminate and pretty much anything you put it on comes out looking brand-spanking-new! One question, did it say on the brand of adhesive you have to put two coats on each surface? The brand I have used in the past only said to use one unless you have let it dry for too long and then you can reapply another coat. I was just curious.
TortureBot it specifies two on edgeswith this product, but just as a precaution I opt to do entire surface to be sure I will have the best bond. Some manufactures may vary though. Thanks for watching man.
So what if i want vynil in my cabinet? just sanding and put the vynil, and wich wood you use?

Hey szabo I have a ridge racer arcade that the tv blew and I got a replacement CRT, but it appears that the video connection is through a ribbon cable. Do CRT's have a ribbon cable connection inside? Or do I need a different board for the connection?
KING KONK the connection will be on the monitor chassi. To my knowledge not all CRTs are compatible with any game. There are different types of connections on some monitors. I honestly would have to research that one little deeper for you. Thanks for watching man.

What's the thickness of the laminate, and what material is the roller you are using the spread the glue?
I believe the roller is a 9 inch wide x 1/8 thick, Short nap foam roller.

Fabio COLTRO I’m using Wilson art vertical grain laminate. Some cabinets I use arborite, they have a blue that matches Nintendo Donkey Kong very well.
What would a wood shop charge for such a job including the body work? Might be better to let the professionals do it since I don’t have any of those tools. BTW, it’s a 4 player Konami Cab
Where i can order lamined?
For basic colors- Lowes/ Home Depot- they sell it by the sheet. Just make sure the size is what you need because you'd probably want one solid sheet to go along the whole side and for full sized cabinets i'm not sure if the sheets they have are big enough... For 1up cabinets it'd be fine i'm sure...
Other than those places i'd look up countertop places in your area that redo counters and they can order it for you. They'd have a bigger selection for colors. Another idea though is going over the mdf with a primer that works on mdf... I forget which ones but a google search will tell ya. Then you can use whatever color paint and put that over it and follow up with some clear coat of some sort... Keeping in mind what each type might look like. I'd probably go with a matte finish for what it is. Be sure to sand with high grit sandpaper in between coats of paint. It's a bit of work but painting it can save ya a lot of money and it's cheaper to touch up if it gets scratched.

Laminate is much stronger than paint. You can dent and ding and scratch MDF and paint, but laminate is very hard and objects will just bounce off.
