Just wanted to say THANK YOU! I just did this for my Hobie and it turned out great.
Glad to help!
Thanks for posting it! I’ll shoot you pics of how I end up setting mine up. Tight lines!
Sounds great.
Hey, Aksman. Out of curiosity, why toggles over rivets? Thank you for the video and your time.
In case I need to remove it for some reason.
Sorry for the dumb questions: How thick is the poly cutting board? And just to clarify that is just kitchen cutting board?
Yes, just inexpensive cutting board.
Could you install a 55 pound thrust trolling motor on this set up? Or will that tear it off the boat?
awesome build..excatly what i want to do out in tje front. still try to figure out a way to raise and lower the motor with out of getting out of the seat.
Thanks Michael. I have an Impact Resistance and Cable Lift System video tutorial that may work for you.
@@Aksmaniyak ok thanks a million
@@mulder5118 Glad to help!

Thank you Mikhalych!
@@Aksmaniyak Пожалуйста Уважаемый , жаль не ведаю как Вас звать - величать по имени и отцу батюшке ( то есть по отчеству ) . Удачи Вам и здравия !!! Честь имею - Михалыч
How did you put the screw holes in the kayak to screw the bolts in
I used snaptoggle bolts.
Hi. concise, to the point and easily understandable! (As are all your videos)
I am curious? Have you made a video of 2 x motors connected to a common steering link yet?
(i.e. turning the steering would turn both motors simultaneously)
Thanks! I have never done a tandem motor set up. Honestly, I think it is more of an expensive gimmick than being practical.
@@Aksmaniyak OK - I was thinking of 2 x 86 lbs thrust motors (24V) to propel a small cathedral hull (or a kayak) as opposed to a noisy outboard - might be slower, but definitely quieter? (Could even mount a 650W solar panel overhead ?)
@@joatmofa0405 Personally, if I needed more thrust I would go up in size with one motor. It is much easier to deal with.
thanks for sharing.
You are welcome.
How did you find the pin? The main quick release one. Im stuck on that step.
Follow the related video link.
I’m looking to put a e propulsion motor on my ascend 12t. I need the transom mount to extend up though because the shaft on the e propulsion is permanent and I believe the extra short shaft would still be too long. Any thoughts about a product out there that might fit or a way to build something?
I think a custom build would be the best for you. I have never used that motor so I can't provide any details. Good luck!
Where did you get the cross pin and cotter pin for it?
It's listed in the related video narrative.
@@Aksmaniyak thank you. Working on my motor install slowly but steadily. Taken a lot of ideas from your videos.
@@truecrimson1 Glad to help!
How’s the steering?
Very responsive. You can see the performance in the shakedown cruise video.
Хороший транец
Thank you.
