    Hey, Aksman. Out of curiosity, why toggles over rivets? Thank you for the video and your time.

    Sorry for the dumb questions: How thick is the poly cutting board? And just to clarify that is just kitchen cutting board?

    • @Aksmaniyak

      Yes, just inexpensive cutting board.

    Could you install a 55 pound thrust trolling motor on this set up? Or will that tear it off the boat?

    Ой вей , очень даже интересный у Вас ролик . Имеет право на жизнь и такой способ предложенный Вами . Удобно , снял мотор со стойкой и нет проблем . Только вот еще будут тяги крепления поворотов , если не изменяет память Старому солдату - они у Вас крепятся на карабинах , к педальному управлению . Вы не усложняете данное действие электронным управлением ! Чем проще система - тем она надежней и долговечней . Спасибо за Ваш труд и то что делитесь с народом !!! Честь имею - МИхалыч

    How did you put the screw holes in the kayak to screw the bolts in

    • @Aksmaniyak
      @Aksmaniyak  2 месяца назад

      I used snaptoggle bolts.

    Hi. concise, to the point and easily understandable! (As are all your videos)
    I am curious? Have you made a video of 2 x motors connected to a common steering link yet?
    (i.e. turning the steering would turn both motors simultaneously)

    • @Aksmaniyak
      @Aksmaniyak  2 года назад

      Thanks! I have never done a tandem motor set up. Honestly, I think it is more of an expensive gimmick than being practical.

      @@Aksmaniyak OK - I was thinking of 2 x 86 lbs thrust motors (24V) to propel a small cathedral hull (or a kayak) as opposed to a noisy outboard - might be slower, but definitely quieter? (Could even mount a 650W solar panel overhead ?)

    • @Aksmaniyak
      @Aksmaniyak  2 года назад +1

      @@joatmofa0405 Personally, if I needed more thrust I would go up in size with one motor. It is much easier to deal with.

    I’m looking to put a e propulsion motor on my ascend 12t. I need the transom mount to extend up though because the shaft on the e propulsion is permanent and I believe the extra short shaft would still be too long. Any thoughts about a product out there that might fit or a way to build something?

    • @Aksmaniyak
      @Aksmaniyak  11 месяцев назад

      I think a custom build would be the best for you. I have never used that motor so I can't provide any details. Good luck!
