MrehT - I visit the Chilispot on Olive since they’re authentic Szechuan. I’m from the east coast - Wash DC and I love their customer service, flexibility to modify dishes based on my palate for that day. Great short ribs, noodle, rice & soup dishes. Also, love their seafood dishes, fish & veggie dishes.
Lulu used to be Chaney's BBQ many years ago. Also, Frank and Helen's Pizzeria at 8111 Olive has really good pizza and broasted chicken. They're one of the oldest businesses in that area. They've been in business since 1956 and at that location since 1965.
Despite I grew up in U.S. every where I went.on vacation it got have china.town.along with it thank you for posting everything look delicious and sumptuous
Thank you for posting! We will visit St Louis for a 75th Wedding Anniversary in March. Now we know where to go for Dim Sum!! Did you see Pu-Erh Tea in any of the Markets?
It is slowly becoming Chinatown. The population is slowly changing from white and black to Asian with a sprinkle of Hispanic. Give it 10 years and it will become Asia town.
It grows each year. It is better than ever in 2023 with so much good chinese food. My favorite is Wonton King. You can go super traditional or more American Chinese. And the Dimsum is available pretty much every day.
What? You go to a Tokyo Steak Hibachi Buffet? Why not just go to Panda Express, eat General Tso's Chicken along with a Pu Pu Platter with duck sauce, and claim that you are showing "Chinese food" while you're at it, this is ridiculous. Maybe you could think about updating the video and doing a better job of making this more authentic and true to the cultural heritage and the variety of foods. If you don't know how, ask for help from people locally who would likely be glad to help. Your presentation of the food and the culture was a joke. For instance if you're going to focus on "China" and then you go into Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese places, why not at least explain regional variations for your audience that might not know? You give the impression that Asian food is Asian food. That's not true at all. Much of the food you showed was really more Americanized. I feel sorry for anyone who uses this video for an impression of the offerings in the area.

Thanks for the info. I grew up in STL and have always enjoyed the food in Chinatown albeit it's quite small.

Korean market and the rest of that strip mall are gone...sacrificed for the new Costco which has flattened northeast University City.
But the Costco is nice though and has a lot of ethnic food
Is there a place where I can buy Buddha's there
Buddha statues or paintings? Not sure.

Sorry for the super late reply. How was your 75th wedding anniversary? Congratulations too.
I can visualize that being a church in the pass.🤔
It could be.
LU Lu is still one of the best Chinese restaurants in the country. Their schzuan chicken so good
I agree but it can be spendy. Check out the food from my Christmas trip: ruclips.net/video/Buh1f-KNXeI/видео.html
Where’s a Asian bath house...I’ve been looking for a Korean or Chinese body scrub type spa with no luck.
I'm not sure. Try google.

Hey, it's better than some cities.

Um... it is Asian Town. Olive Blvd is home to Asians now. Olive, Brentwood and somewhat of Delmar Loop.
You must never been here

I'm just documenting the Asian restaurant choices in the St.Louis area.
