It wasnt much useful tho, decoys are not moving, you can hear mirage ulting, hear his footsteps while in invisible mode, thats why we made portal play and we all went in to distract while i flank
I am seeing so many of these videos and it really helps because I played in season 0-4 then stopped playing and I’m playing again now and wondering where all the ability’s went
I have been a mirage main ever since season 2 I believe. When I saw how his old kit worked I loved it and would do that a lot to go behind the enemy as I walked threw then invincible. After the reworked for me it was fun to still use him but always miss how he used to work a lot.
Yea, while current one isn't anything crazy, as long as you're not a dumbass that will start shooting immediatly, you can still flank the enemy with it or escape as long as you don't make it too obvious, like running straight at the enemy, looking at them, or running straight away from them

I've had an idea for mirage ult, you turn invisible like you used to and one decoy as a copy of each teammate appears, instead of a bunch of mirages, and you can take control of each of them if you want to
As a mirage main I like the original ult BUT I think his new one is better. It bamboozles people more and his revives/respawns are incredibly important to the team
i remember playing mirage before the rework i do like him more now but something about being able to become invisible for a few seconds was really good i remember this one play where i was basically 1v3 because all my teammates got knocked i popped my ultimate and quickly hid in a mountain that had just weird geometry they couldn't find so when i heard healing i stuck an arc star on one of them and damaged all of them then i came out of my hiding space finishing them all with an r 301 you just can't pull that off anymore i mean kinda in close range his ult is really good if you know what you're doing but i honestly think if the ult gave you 2 seconds of invis it would be so much better
I think his old ult and his new ult are balanced because with the new one his decoys move but his old one makes him invisible I do prefer his old ult though because of the ability to be invisible
Fun for you but not fun for the receiving end. Devs already said that they don't want abilities to teleport you behind enemies without knowledge at all.
His tactical should just be a cloak (but not complete invisibility) and his ultimate should be him spawning a bunch of clones that do things players would like strafing sprinting shooting (the bullets would be purely aesthetic and would do no damage)
Would be broken cos decoys have footsteps so they can't hear you, they mimic you so they confuse enemy and cloaking means they literally can't see you.
You can honestly do the exact same thing if you just ult closer to the person and then just run around behind them, they’ll probably be even more disoriented than if you just appeared behind them out of nowhere.
Damn I wanted to try that ult since season 0 but at some point I decided to unlock caustic first and the day before I could unlock mirage it was changed I didn't use to play enough to earn legend tokens fast before
I love the Cloak Ult but tbh the new one is pretty clever as well. Soon as you use the ult its all a guessing game then, you just gotta know how to be slick with it lol.
This can still work if you stick a ballsy revive while the other team is pushing. It gives you like 3 seconds to get behind someone and beam them into oblivion, although the sequence of events has to be *just* right
i feel like you should hold (ult button) then have a branch with multiple ults come up and you just drag mouse or joystick to choose one to have set, or have mulitple ablilities and ults to choose before you start the match
Mirage old ult was pretty nice and destructive with a coordinated team but his new kit I really natural and fair. I can see being invisible being a really good meta.
