    Thank god you went with a Toyota. I would recommend a Jeep but as you know they are owned by FIAT, no bueno. Nice 4Runner. I currently own a 2018 Chevy Silverado customized lifted and a 2018 4Runner and love them both. I actually love the color of your 4Runner looks bad ass. Thanks for the video🤙

    That is a pretty '14 Trail you have there.
    My '12 Trail has custom pin striping, scratched and dented skid plates. Still shines when washed and waxed. Easy to clean and spends a lot of time off road, specially now that I am retired. I'm considering a 3" lift so I can put 36" OD tires on it. A bit higher and greater access to rougher territory. Sometimes chasing the sunsets and sunrises will take you into wild territory.

    With it being completely flat in the rear (with the cargo tray and the back seats laying forward) can you sleep back there or can you feel (in your back) the transition between the tray and the seats.

    • @StraightFaces
      @StraightFaces  4 года назад

      The cargo tray basically makes the whole rear flush with the seats when they’re folded down. Slept back there several times with a sleeping pad and a sleeping bag and it’s great! Cant feel any sort of transition at all.

    • @StraightFaces

    Do you mind to post the links for the front and rear TRD valances and Emblem overlays? Also, did you have to replace the piece under the emblem and 4runner letters on the rear, or was that already black? Further, how is the ride quality with the Toytec spacer lift? Was it hindered? It looks awesome and is very cheap, so if it isn't a massive downgrade in ride quality, I am considering doing that instead of the Bilstein 6112/5160 lift with Icon coils, since it will be a fraction of the price and I can use the extra funds toward the emblem overlays and valances. Thanks in advance man, great video!

    • @StraightFaces
      @StraightFaces  5 лет назад

      I updated the description to include an Amazon link to the emblem overlays and part numbers for the TRD Pro valances since prices on those change and you can just use Google to find the best deal. Spacer lifts get a lot of flack because while they do give you more ground clearance they do not give you additional suspension travel like a proper suspension kit with shocks and control arms. That being said this kit has been excellent for the money I have in it. This is my daily driver and the ride quality is virtually the same as it was stock. The panel on the rear with the Toyota and 4Runner emblems comes black for trail, TRD Off-Road, and TRD Pro models. It comes body color for SR5 models and chrome for Limited models. If you like a certain color you can always swap the part out!
