      nancy games But the council tax goes up for all residents of Cardiff suburbs too - 99% of whom have probably never attended a game. I think that part of the cost of the tickets for these games should go to the council for cleaning and the NHS for treating injuries sustained whilst celebrating - or like the poor cyclist, as a result of the mess. The chippies in Caroline Street (chip alley) also need to start using cardboard trays as all that polystyrene will take hundreds if not thousands of years to rot down in landfill.

    In Germany, we have something we call Pfand on bottles and cans. You pay a certain amount, like 6 to 30 cents, but you get them back when you return the empty can/bottle. This way, most people bring these things back to the shops. Moreover, some people even make a living on collecting cans and bottles from the streets and the public dustbins.

    • @GwyndolinOwO
      @GwyndolinOwO 4 года назад +3

      @@edster8416 true! like the other person said- japan has a bit of an odd but good thing going on. Since no one really litters there if you DO litter people around you will actually glare at you. (its also for that reason that eating and walking in public is seen as rude. you eat your food where you got it, tuck the garbage away, or eat it later. I think eating on buses that aren't designed with food trays is also seen as a no-no but i could be wrong on that one ). People in japan also don't really like standing out much so no one really sees the reason to break a rule like that.

I used to work in Halfords on the Hayes (which is where John Lewis is now) and the fans would come in to buy air horns etc - the banter was fab! Also people who are like "laziness just chuck it in the bin" - you've never been down Queen Street on Six Nations weekend then, let alone most holiday season Saturdays. Chippy Lane is a death trip by 1am (I've never been on a street so littered and dirty that you literally slide on the grease on the pavement) and most bins fill up in Cardiff by the end of predrinks let alone after people finish clubbing and head down chippy lane for some kebabs and chips. I tend to always eat on the way home or when I get home and obviously once I'm out of the city center I can find a bin that isnt already stacked up and surrounded, or I'm close enough to home to just chuck it in my bin; but yeah you'll never find a bin with space in it.
