He's slowly building up against better fighters, and he called out Canelo, if Canelo wanted to fight you know Jake would say yes and you would complain hes taller than Canelo or someshit.

@@TheSilenc I believe Paul would’ve won split decision prior to the knockdown, the knockdown just set it in stone. If Anderson kept that same pace/pressure he had in rounds 2-4 throughout the whole fight, He would’ve won. But then again…that pace/pressure is what got him caught

I feel like the judges scored it a little too one-sidedly. It was way closer than that, but fair play to Jake.

I grew up watching Anderson and he is who got me into MMA and watching UFC so I completely understand what Israel is trying to explain watching Anderson and how it makes him feel still even now to this day I had so much fun with everything leading to the fight last night. Waking up every day and checking RUclips to see if there was any new content about the fight or Anderson and just the days counting down and getting closer to the day of the fight and then finally it being that day and the day going slow and then finally watching the walk out and then the GOAT🐐 Anderson Silva himself in a combat ring. Anderson like I said is definitely my favorite fighter of all time and I remember those last few fights he had in the UFC and having to come to the hard realization that he just didn't quite have it anymore and was wondering how I was going to still enjoy watching the UFC without having a favorite fighter anymore. I remember one day thinking hard like damn who am I going to be a fan of now? Who am I going to root for now? And I honestly just didn't have anybody else that I could get remotely excited about. Then Izzy came out of nowhere started fucking shit up, just like Anderson did. I remember after his first fight liking him and I was like dang that it was good and deciding to go ahead and and keep an eye on him and it wasn't too long after that that he had his second fight and it was after the second one that I knew okay I found my new favorite fighter and it wasn't forced or like a oh I guess this is my new favorite fighter now no it was just all the same feelings I had with Anderson the excitement the looking up on RUclips the videos when he had a fight posted in when it was getting closer and then the day of his fights and then when he was fighting it was just all the exact same feelings I had when I would watch Anderson's career. Then I remember hearing that Silva was going to be boxing and no matter what I was happy for him but after seeing those last few fights in the UFC I just didn't know if he quite had it anymore and I just didn't want him to continue to fight even in a boxing ring if it was just going to be him taking losses and people being left with that as the memory of Anderson Silva the legend. I was just like man I hope he does good boxing and because of him going that route I knew he still wanted to fight very badly and that fire was still inside of him so I just hoped and prayed that he did good and that if he didn't do good he wouldn't try for too long and tarnish that legendary warrior image and legacy he made. He had that first fight and I was like oh damn my boy still has it just must not have been in the MMA aspect but purely just standing up and boxing my guys is gonna kill shit still and he's done just that and I couldn't be more happy for him! 💯 Like I said so I know what Izzy is talking about and how he feels when he's watching Anderson in the ring. What he doesn't understand is what him and Anderson are giving fans like me who when it comes to MMA and the UFC those two guys are number 1 and number 2 spots of my favorite fighters of all time and even just combat sports in general actually because I'm a bigger MMA fan than I am no boxing fan and so even with Mike Tyson being one of my all-time favorites I would have to put him in the number 3 spot because I'm not as big a boxing fan and don't follow it quite as much as I do MMA. What I was trying to say tho is that Izzy and Anderson don't understand what they are giving fans like me that are supporters of both of them and with Izzy making his own argument for being the greatest ever and being at the top in his career and Anderson already having done so being able to watch both of them fight still is just amazing and a treat like no other as a fan of both of them. Thank u Izzy and Anderson. U both are legendary and that won't ever change. Now just a few days away from watching Izzy silence and shut everyone the fuck up and beat Alex Pereira's ass! It is gonna be a good ass fight tho and Izzys toughest fight but its gonna end like all of his others in the UFC have. With a victory!

Silva did extremely well, Paul made some fucking drastic improvements that most of us didn't think were possible. This fight was best possible outcome for Jake Paul and I'm glad Silva got paid for it.

Anyone else notice Silva wasnt throwing a straight left the whole fight? He kept his elbow pretty bent and only threw short uppercuts and hooks. Maybe an elbow injury? He's not an excuse maker so I dont doubt he wouldn't have mentioned it after the fight. Hats off to both fighters tho. Great fight.
