When I first got my ninja 400 I went to my sisters house and she told me it sounded like a lawn mower😭
You realize you can buy that shorty gp from the hardware store right? it's like 20 bucks. same exact thing as that. that isn't even a muffler it's just a piece to throw at the end of your strait piped bike to make it look right instead of just a cut of muffler and the pipe. also don't paint the stock muffler pipe just cut it down. good luck!

I had that same excuse and I loved it but I didn't like how it stuck out so far so I took it out and cut the mid pipe a bit so it just sticks out the bottom....looks waaaaayyy better
Dom956 in my opinion it looks better with the straight pipe and sounds the same. I don't really see the point in it.
sounds a hell of a lot better (sounds like an actual bike), still sounds slightly better without an exhaust though. the stock exhaust make the 300s sound like a chainsaw

I just bought a black ninja with the same exhaust. I think it sounds great! More like a motorcycle. Not many 300 exhausts sound mean. The only gripe I have is the reverb coming off other cars or walls in a tunnel. Wear ear plugs if you plan on getting this, especially for longer rides. I might change to Austin racing, that exhaust sounds more racy than throaty. Yoshimura sound is over rated. Nice vid!

does this exhaust affect the back pressure of the bike? like how does it accelerate compared to stock? since the baffle isnt really a baffle.

save $60 and just ride with no exhaust........... That exhaust defys the whole point of an exhaust. Probably suitable for Drag racing, but for gains tuning would be a must. The other thing its pure ugly, it looks exactly like what it is "a $5 car exhaust tip with a non-packed 51mm baffle tube spot welded inside" and hit with some hi-temp paint for the black finish.. Dam, I should be producing them... I'm aiming way to high...
slip the tip down to rhe end of the pipe so it hides the pipe, because it sounds the same if not echoing it lol.

Have you any issues on performance? Because many talks that after shorty slip on . You must retune ecu or it may damage exhaust valves due to ecu is tuned for backpressure muflerr and with shorty you loose backpressure .so lixture getting leaner.
How long you drive with it on?

If u put an M4 exhaust on it,it sounds like not having an exhaust only with a way beefier sound

This isn't really an exhaust bro. It's a piece of pipe made to clean up the look of the straight pipe, and maybe amplify it slightly. For 60 bucks u got ripped off in my opinion. If your wanting a shorty exhaust check out coffmans. 200 bucks looks alot nicer, and comes with a removable baffle. 200 is still cheaper...heck half the price than most of your slip ons on the market and it's a legitimate exhaust, not a rip off price of metal. Get ur money back and get the coffmans exhaust of just run straight pipe if that's what ur going for.

you could put copper gasket sealant and you wouldnt need to go crazy on the clamp..sounds pretty good

is it okay to rev motorcycle in neutral? supposedly because there is no "load" on it, it is bad for the pistons? anyone know please
***** i was told not to rev in neutral because there is no "load" on the motorcycle and thus it is harder on the pistons or whatever
there is no difference between that tip and my 12 dollar autozone tip.
do you still have that gp exhaust on your bike? if so hows it going with it, only asking because I bought 1 and people are telling me about back pressure and it can mess up valves because the exhaust has nearly no baffle for back pressure
Alejandro Roman I checked and had it tested this exhaust will not mess anything up but the db level is 105 so I would check with your local sherrifs department and ask before buying so u don't get a fat ass ticket and waste money

Did you notice any diferencial on speed or aceleration ,or is mainly beauty and sound purpose ?
any exhaust change will change your torque, power band, and top end. How much of a change will be dependent on which exhaust you had and then if you re mapped the fuel injectors.

I have a 300 I bought that same pipe summer 15. yeah its LOUD and you'll need ear buds in music playing @10 to drown out the sound of that thing... check my video I got really good sounding exhaust from amazon for 35.00 bucks...
