I found a uv resin/uv flashlight kit at hobby lobby in the jewelry section. I can’t set my jigs in the window sill since I have uv blocking windows, but my Menards doors don’t have uv blocking glass. I can set the jigs on the ledge there but only a few at a time. We do what we gotta do. Thanks for another great video, Eric.
Good to see you trying different consumables I like that because we all need to save any money we can. I have a cardboard box with four wood rods. With two small uv lights. I will say this if you stick them in and go to bed the nest morning it will not be clear it turns a Carmel color. I use solerez. So I’m looking for better products all the time. Good video.
Hey, I'm glad you show your layout....it's normal! My setup is hanging, laying everywhere....I don't have anything but a small desk. I hang my flash on coat hangers hanging on the wall above my desk.... tools in a drawer of desk, no real good storage for my threads or bobbins yet. Small boxes hold jigs and glues, resin, too. I also appreciate your little secret tips. My own has been CN import...sometimes not worth getting, so I move on trying other things...but I can absorb cost easier than the fishing big names with higher prices. All my flash is import, as well as most thread. Wife bought me the same fingernail light...but I'm checking the Light Cure...will check different flashlight, mine may not be good enuf and causing me issues with even Loons UV resin.
I bought the aluminum oven racks from CSI Paint (Pro-Tec maker) for my oven baking process, but use them to put under my UV light too. I cure my heads before I tie the bodies on; I put all the eyes on, coat them in the vice so I can rotate them, put them in rack and then under the light. Same end result, great video!!
The uv box I'm working on will be close to your set up....I save all the uv resin work for last so that way whip finish knot and head and eyes are all under 1 coat.....if that makes any sense
That was a pretty jig and thank you for the Q & A on the UV resin light. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a loud cat. Do you play with your cat with some of your feathers or deer tail I do occasionally.
LOL this definitely validates I am doing something right😋 I've been sealing the eyes like this ever since you got me using Sally Hansen's😁 just a quick video before I hit the grind🙄🙄 good job on this video buddy👌👌👍👍👍
I have been interested in uv, but thought it was too $ if it expired before I used it up. You look to tie a lot, how long after opening does it last for you ?

She could care less about any of that material lol all she does is eat and sleep
Great information thanks for sharing.
Gooood afternoon from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great day!
If it stays tacky, put a thin coat of Solarez Bone Dry and it it with the light and tacky is gone.
With the resin I use should never have that issue
