1. Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Peniel and Ilhoon were radio dj and Peniel hosts a podcast with some other Korean-American singers (still going on)
2. Hyunsik has new additions to his tattoos, one of them is a "M" for melody and Peniel also got one
3. Peniel has herniated disc on his neck/back for a while (which makes dancing difficult) also he ruptured his Achilles last year

5. Eunkwang, Minhyuk and Changsub have separate youtube contents going on (Changsub's jeongwaja is very famous right now)

1. All the members have completed their mandatory military service (including Ilhoon & excluding Peniel as he is an American citizen)

-Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Hyunsik, Peniel together (company's name not revealed yet)

-Sungjae in a company where his acting would be the main focus
(But BTOB's group scedule would be the priority for all of them)
The latest drama from Sungjae is Golden spoon. Definitely must watch kdrama . Sungjae is one of top actor in Korea 💙
Yes he even won Top Excellent Award (Actor) for that year. Can't wait for his new dramas
Thanks for reacting to this guide. Don't you worry, you're saying their names right. They really used to dance a lot during their earlier years and had more upbeat songs then. But since they got famous for their heartfelt ballads..they seldom danced and when they did, the choreo was slow and cool and fitting to their songs. That's why during Kingdom..Peniel practiced a lot coz he felt that its been a while since he really danced. And lately he's still not doing a lot of dancing coz he's still having therapies and exercises coz of his accident last year. You see, he had a ruptured Achilles tendon and was operated on last year. Then a few months after that had another operation coz of his herniated back I believe.So he's still on his recovery..hopefully he'll be fully recovered soon.
Anyway, now that you had a glimpse or idea on how they are..hope you could now check out their songs especially those they are famous for. Kindly check out their MISSING YOU, BEAUTIFUL PAIN, REMEMBER THAT, THE SONG, WIND AND WISH, I'LL BE YOUR MAN, ONLY ONE FOR ME, MOVIE, OUTSIDER, IT'S OKAY dance version, WOW. I really look forward to your coming btob videos omg!!! They are the best, if not one of the best vocally, musically advanced groups in the industry. They're also very much known for their kind personalities which lasted them through the 12 years. For going into the personalities of all personalities, I strongly reccomend their variety show 'Born TO BTOB' or, 'BTOB Quiet& Reserved Idols'. Both are extremely popular, and other youtubers have reacted to it, so it's a safe watch! Thank you so much for this!!

Thank you for your reaction and your opinion about them, I like it. BTOB members are really has good personality, good heart, always keeping promise, humble, loving each other like a family, also with Melody. About their ability in music no need to be in doubt, so I won't say to much, but I want to share some of their personality and duality (in a good way).
: He is the funiest of all members. Sometimes he more look like comedian 😄but he's one of the best person that I know. The kindest. The best leader in K-Pop. Previously he was one of the directors at Cube, but he chose to relinquish that position and leave Cube with all the members when their contracts ended.
: Eunkwang's best friend (because they are the same age. Their births are only 7 days apart), someone Eunkwang can rely on. Minhyuk is the member who has the best fan service, he really understands Melody, in the group he is the mother and he really cares for his members like a mother.
: He may be someone who is very funny but he is actually an introvert. He can be like that only when he feels comfortable with his environment, with friends who know him well. He is a very direct person, brave when it is right, a gentleman. In fact, he is a very serious person, especially when it comes to music, behavior and relationships (family and friends). Maybe you don't know, Changsub is the CEO of Chang-Ggo Music Training Center.
: His father is a famous folk singer in South Korea, it's no wonder Hyunsik is very talented in music. Being a musician has been his passion from the start. He is a member of KOMCA (Korean Music Copyright Association). He is a person who is very detailed in his songs (you can see their video recordings "The Song" and "Wind And Wish" on Beatcom on RUclips). Hyunsik is a very sweet person, he always thinks about Melody. One of the tattoos has the letter M, which is Melody's initial. He is the scariest member but he is very cute without him realizing it.
: He is like an angel. He is really really a kind person. The best boy. But he also a straight forward person. As BTOB member maybe he is not much talking but when he with his Korean-America friends, it's different. It because with him there are another 6 member, so he has to be careful when speaking because if he makes a mistake the other members will be affected. If you don't know, Peniel is one of the hosts on Get Real. You can watch it on RUclips. Now season 4 has started. He once said this in Get Real season 1. TMI, Peniel's hair is bald because he suffers from Alopecia. But now his hair has grown back well. 1 more, BTOB Blue's "Stand By Me" MV directed by Peniel.
: Ilhoon is the most mischievous member, looks cool, a bad boy, but actually loves Sungjae, especially because Sungjae is the only younger brother in the group. Melody is the name given by Ilhoon, therefore Ilhoon is also very precious to Melody. Maybe he had a marijuana case, but he never did anything bad to anyone. On the contrary, he is very kind to others. At that time the other members still kept him in the group, but he chose to resign because he didn't want the group and other members to be affected because of his case.
: The evil maknae, giant baby (because he's the tallest), the person who has been most enthusiastic about promoting BTOB since their debut. He never misses mentioning BTOB in every appearance (both interviews, casting, variety shows and when he is an MC and even when receiving awards). He is the richest member. His father was a CEO. He was afraid of nothing but ghosts. Sungjae is very loved by his hyungs and really loves his hyungs too. Even thought he was a rich kid, but he Even though he is the son of a rich man, he is very humble, polite, a gentleman and does not hesitate to do even rough or dirty work. because his parents also taught him to be humble.

Little bit of TMI that makes me think the BTOB members are meant to be together. They all have 1 brother/sister. Eunkwang has a younger brother, Minhyuk and Hyunsik have an older brother, Changsub has a younger sister (who used to really want to marry Eunkwang 🤭), Peniel, Ilhoon and Sungjae have an older sister. Interesting, right?

I could totally relate to you not finishing School 2015: Who Are You (sungjae’s drama) because you want sungjae and the lead girl to end up being together. I watched the drama even before knowing about BTOB but Sungjae is still the second lead who deserved better. Like I never believed in Second Lead Syndrome until I watched School 2015. And even after all these years, it still hurts me 😩 The plot is really really really nice but if you wanna protect your heart from heartbreak, I suggest to not finish it lmao 😅
As a kdrama fan (and not necessarily as a melody), I suggest for you to watch Goblin, Mystic Pop-Up Bar and The Golden Spoon (sungjae stars in all of these). I’m not saying this as a melody, but as a kdrama fan, SUNGJAE REALLY DID A GREAT JOB IN THESE ROLES. Like he really put himself in the list of one of the best idol-actors in korea even with just less than 10 kdramas.
In addition, I love how you noticed a musical style (?) in changsub’s singing style. He’s a musical actor for around 7 yrs now and he’s been in a total of 12 musicals (or more?) and he has pointed out how he’s changing his singing style as he got older coz he had vocal nodules around 2017/18, so there’s some limitations to his upper register thus singing in a deeper style lately.
And lastly, I love how you’ve noticed the different rapping styles of the rappers coz I PERSONALLY love btob for having diverse rappers. Before going into btob (kpop in general), I was not really a fan of rapping, but I’ve come to love it because of BTOB’s rappers. Each of them brings a different flavor in their songs 💙

- Ilhoon is considered one of the best idol rappers, his tone is very unique. Minhyuk is one of the fastest idol rappers, both are very idolised by idols.
- Hyunsik and Sungjae could be but are FAR from nepo-babies. Considering their background, they are super humble! Hyunsik's father is a legendary folk-rock singer Im Jihoon (most Koreans that grew up in the 80s/90s are stunned to hear this fact), one of his song is remastered for a recent famous Kdrama (can't remember the name, Hospital Playlist I beleive, cmiiw). The only time he revealed it was when his father had to sign the papers for his debut. For the public he revealed it in 2016 (4 years after debut) in the program Knowing Brothers. Even the members were kinda shocked to know how famous his father was by the way the hosts reacted to Hyunsik singing his fathers songs. Humble king!
Sungjae's family is rich, they own land, his father is a CEO of a company that provide material-parts for several company, including Samsung. He revealed it on a show that "exposed him", he didn't say much about it really, I remember him saying "I don't really know what he does (about his father)". He humbly lived just like the other members, worked hard for BTOB, went against the company and audition for acting roles and didn't reveal it untill he got the job. Shared all his earnings with BTOB so they could succeed and even talked about the members having similar skills to him to promote them. He got his role in Who Are You? School 2015 by getting angry at the pd in his audition for acting like he doesn't care who BTOB is. Sungjae got angry and thought he lost the job, but the pd knew BTOB and just wanted to see Sungjae get angry so he got the job because he matched the character well! 😆 Humble king 2! Nepo babies who?😆
- Sungjae and Eunkwang are cry babies. Sungjae loves making Eunkwang cry but end up crying more himself because of it. A father and his son basically. Sungjae was 17 when he debuted and probably 15/16 when he joined BTOB, he has been with his brothers for half his life now, he loves them and they all ADORES him! The same could be said about Ilhoon, who is only a year older than Sungjae, but it's hard to see them together nowadays, even tho there are roomers of the members meeting up with him in a very few occasions. Ilhoon is a really good person, despite his cool image. So it's hard to just let him go in any way.
- Changsub is 3 months younger than Eunkwang and Minhyuk, but Minhyuk especially treat him as his other younger members, like a baby brother lol.
-Eunwkang and Changsub went to the same high school so they knew each other before auditioning and becoming idol trainees.
-In a rather recent program they revealed they didn't want to become idols. (Hence why they always sings live and take music seriously). They came in as trainees for a band project. Ek, Cs, Hs and complained about it to Mh when he came a year or few months befor debuting with BTOB. Sungjae wanted to be a ballad soloist and Ilhoon joined Cube as music producer, his original dream but the CEO saw his potential as a rapper and so he became both in BTOB. Peniel joined a month befor debuting with BTOB, he was in JYP before and almost debuted as a GOT7 member.
-Minhyuk was an undergroup rapper and b-boy before debut.
-In 2011 there were 5 people out of 3000 that entered Howon University in early admission. Howon Uni is the most prestigious practical music academy in South Korea, it's basically like Harvard. Out of the 5 accepted in early admission (auditions) that year, there were only 2 males - Changsub and Hyunsik!! They found out that the other was accepted when they met up in their practice room later for BTOB practices. "Oh, you were also accepted in Howon?!". Crazy!
Despite these two being Howon students, Eunwkang was and is the main vocal, which says a lot about Eunwkang and BTOB!

- when hyunsik want to be a trainee his dad give condition not to reveal their relation to avoid special treatment...when his mom & dad went to cube to sign documents for debut (his mom signed and dad waits outside), cube executive was surprised to see his dad roaming around the company.
- minhyuk as underground rapper Huta works together with Block B Zico & Park Kyung and BAP Yongguk
