Hey Pheas, i'm looking to get one of these double bell AK's and i'd like to hear your opinion about the quality of construction! Is there anything i should know about? I assume they share commonality with Cyma's designs and have an aluminium barrel and pot metal pins. Im wanting to get their RK-05 AIMS model, because its the only AIMS out there that isnt an LCT ever since E&L stopped makin' em and 0.50's being a decade old. I assume the stock will wobble a wee bit? So far my experience with my DB g36c has the stock be really solid so im wondering if it will be the same story with the AK wirestocks. Cheers!
Depending on the model of CYMA Ak, they have the same disassembly as this, its the older plastic TM style aks that have the easy easy way of removing the front end for the hop and barrel. The price point on these is amazing! Pheas
@@PheasAirsoftToday I got the AK Aim, I think I'll just change the spring, a sealed cylinder and high torque motor and lubricate it, do you know if the motor is normal or high torque from the factory?

They need a punch tool and a good heavy hit on the punch tool to knock them through. If you dont have a punch tool, use a tox screw driver or flat head driver and hit the end of that. Pheas
While in the gearbox i messed with the trigger assembly and it came loose, i figured out how it should be put together again but now i have i tiny little spring and i have no idea where it should go
My brother has purchased the DB AK74, should this be just the same would you know? We are quite new to this and think he might need ti downgrade his spring.
Do you think double bell is a good brand for the AK platform? I've been wanting to start airsoft but the only AK platform that I can find here at my local shop in Canada is double bell. Do you recommend it?
Hello! they tend to fit the longer version of the ak nozzle which is approx 20.6 but ideally it should be the short one at approx 19.6mm I think, Pheas

I have the ak74nm from double bell and I can't get the outer barrell out at all
The cyma AK looks a tad bit easier to get hop and barrel out..but I have been interested in the DB akm ..it looks decent for price point

Hello, do the piston head and the cylinder with metal teeth come from the original factory in that ak?

I think i found it, it was right underneath the trigger around a pin attached to the trigger
I'm pretty surprised that an AK of this price has a quick change spring. My LCTs do not, and it's a pain to change, when it could be so much easier.

How to take the rear sight off?
Hello, if you push down on it where it hinges, it should alow you to lift one side of the the pegs out and then the other side. Pheas
