Your playthroughs are the best out there, because you focus on the narrative and the role play element. Also, you seem to be the only RUclipsr who can read the pop ups 😅 everyone else mispronounces every third word. Keep up the great work

@@SaintofSol It definitely looks very cool, also yeah there's a lot going on here. I watched some guides on how the early game works and how to set stuff up before continuing watching and it reminds me of the spore space stage but 100% more complex and detailed. Not very far into the video yet but i will say i'm thankful and i like that you explain what you're doing so i'm not lost on what's going on (i'll add more onto this once i finish the video)
Okay last thing i'll add is that i found it pretty funny that every time i thought i had saw every mechanic in the game, a new one would appear. Right as i think there's none left, galactic voting appears lol
Yea there are like an endless amount of mechanics in this game, however a large portion of the more optional ones are behind DLC, so your vanilla experience would be much simpler
1:58:52 it's because the -20% upkeep is going to the flat starbase upkeep, not involving the +275% upkeep. It's not taking -20% off of your *total* upkeep because there are other modifiers affecting it, basically.

I don’t really play with mods, there is just so much to do in the base game. However, if I ever wanted to play with mods giga structures would probably be first on the list
That late game lag gave me PTSD from trying to play lategame Stellaris on a huge galaxy on my old PC. Even with a Ryzen 7 2700 and 32 GB of 3200 MHz RAM on a NVMe SSD, there are some fights that might as well be mining crypto for Paradox on the background. 🤣
