Rick forgive me for making a couple of suggestions
Inside the motor housing there is normally a sacrificial part, either a plastic or nylon gear or if it’s belt driven the belt. If there is anything like that consider just getting a spare. You might not need it for years but chances are it’s going to fail at some point at the worse possible time. If you have one to hand will make life simpler and if this jack gets discontinued in a few years you might not be able to find one then.
