IndiGo are competent on the airside. It's the ground game they need to up, like the stamp glitch you experienced. It can be exasperating. Usually, no seniors are around when such a thing happens and unempowered junior staff are left to face irate passengers.
Vistara was the only airline that was good enough to compete with Indigo. Hopefully Air India takes more of a vistara way after the merger. Letting indigo take up majority of the market wont really do much good to Indian aviation.
Vistara and indigo had a very good price compition. The route i take for my hometown from delhi always had vistara as the cheapest option and a meal which is included in vistara, since the merger with airindia the same flight is $10-15 more expensive now which makes indigo cheapest in that route
Indigo has some 380 aircrafts rn with some 900 on order.. every month they get about 3-4 jets while they phase out (return to leaser) 0-1 aircrafts in some months Would like u to experience indigo's new "buisness class" or indigo strech Delhi to mumbai from 14th nov The new aircraft for the buisness class is registered VT-ICF and recently came from hamburg germany.
😀😀😀@9:40, that lady's voice in the background. She was telling her kid to behave and if not will hand him over to you. Guess you were the scarecrow here .LOL. It's so funny. No offence meant!
12:59 one of the last queens of Air India(VT-ESO) all dusty yet charming, waiting to be ferried back to motherland. We might as well get an episode of cockpit casual if the nomadic guys ferry her (like the previous one VT-EVA). And ofc as always great video Johnny, been hanging around here since the NBO-BOM 6E video ❤✨
@@SHUBH30 unfortunately no, Steve doesn’t have a type rating on 747 (not sure about Bob) and both were busy in another adventure that time. But Steve did said on Twitter that he will try his best to get his hands on the next one maybe on the jumpseat?(if nomadic gets the gig)
There's actually a metro called the Aqua Line, which connects the airport both domestic and international . You can also interchange to that Aqua Line Metro form the Marol Naka Station of the metro you showed in the video.
@@theRealJohnnyG. Be careful of street food in Delhi. Research the term Delhi belly, there's a movie too with this name, I am not talking about the movie though. This statement Delhi belly is pretty famous, any new person visiting there gets food poisoning, be it Indian or foreigner. Also, do not drink the local water until you are used to it. Always consume packaged drinking water. Hope you have a safe trip, take care.
@@thestressbuster1516 Thank you! I have heard of Delhi belly hahaha. It was my second time there and fortunately we were both fine. I was mostly eating vegetarian during my stay in in Delhi (which isn't difficult at all in India obviously) and only drank bottled water of course. Thanks for the warning though. Had an amazing time in India and it certainly wasn't my last visit :)
@@theRealJohnnyG. Good to hear you had a great time here, and good choice with having veg food, always a safe bet. Please do visit again, there's so much more to explore in India.❤️
Yes, that's correct. They offer direct flights to Addis Abbaba. Mostly on their 787 but sometimes on their older 777. The old 777 of Ethiopian are quie filthy, I reviewed them on my channel too earlier this year.
@@theRealJohnnyG. No its custom regulation. For above mentioned route , i flown from Vienna to Mumbai/kolkatta via delhi on airindia but both places i passed through immigration control and customs in Mumbai and Kolkatta and not in Delhi.
Hopefully Air India with its recent order of hundreds of jets proves to be a worthy competitor to IndiGo. Indian aviation really needs more competition.
Johnny G really good video and the shots of your beautiful wife made this video that much better. Yes I've heard from family and friends that have flown on Indigo multiple times that it is well worth the money and there planes are clean in most cases. As for myself I've never flown with them and likely never will. Looking forward to your next video cheers
no within india they are mostly point to point as they have to connect major cities However to smaller cities, they connect to there nearby major hub and ofc international destinations are only thru big cities...
The utter filth of that country and the chaos of their airports is something I just can't deal with. Anyway great video. I appreciate people who go through hell so I don't have to.

Indigo..cramped seats..seats with no cushion....journey was so tiresome...paying so much for ticket they dont even give water, juice or biscuits as compliment

Mumbai aiport is one of the world busiest single runwway airport in the world
i mean actually it has 2 but they are intersecting so only 1 is used
Nice fact, didn't know that! Thx for sharing :)
First time i know Indigo in 2011 when boarding time before my MH flight when back from Bangkok to Jakarta via KUL

If you fly both AIRINDIA flights (e.g VIENNA -DELHI- MUMBAI ) , you bags go direct to final destination.
