Having just discovered your channel I have quickly watched quite a lot of your videos and in nearly every video there are restaurant members of staff who are borderline rude, many don't even bother to look at you or say something when they hand you the food. On a positive note your videos are very entertaining!
You are a wonderful UberEats delivery person.. so polite and amazing to do this in all kinds of weather and love the area scenes.. Been on the London Eye once while on a 1 week vacation in London. Waited in line for ages in bad weather, the view was nice but all pictures we took came out horrible bc of the raindrops on the glass, plus I got a better view of London when our plane had to fly like 3 loops while they found us a runway to land on, lol. You're dead on, I don't think it's worth the money at all

Spent 30 hours working last week. Earned just a little over £200. I have been doing Uber, Just Eat, and Deliveroo at the same time. It's a waste of time. Any minimal wage job pays better. Uber Eats has primed when they came to London for like 1 year ever since it's dogshit.
It'll get better when the cold comes, if you relying with it to pay your bills it will let you down during this season

Im in Manchester used it to do it full time , but now I got a job and doing just part time the earnings decreased drastically in the last few months.

Here in the states Uber opened up Eats to drivers, have they done the same over there? I noticed a huge downturn in Eats orders when they made that change. Sucks for those of us who prefer delivery only..

@@paulmark992 Less orders.. Drivers can grab orders along with ride requests. Market saturation plays a roll as well.. I’ve noticed a huge drop off in deliveries since these changes have gone into play..

Area i do deliver for an restaurant in my city Amersfoort i am 16 y/o and get 12 euros an hour i am so happy with this job
Im just trying to get into to it, The background check for Uber is too expensive for me to complete that, Just got accepted for Just Eat and Deliveroo im on the waiting list, I only live in a small town in the east of yorkshire but it is a seaside town, so hopefully it'll be fairly busy with holiday makers etc.
I've got a electric bike, so just working on getting the rest of the gear now too to make it as best as posible, A phone mount / thermal bags etc... won't start till i get a thermal bag.
Just eat seems to have a scheduele where you work shifts? Is their a miniumum you get paid for doing a "shift" or is it still on a if you receive orders? Thanks

I'm on a non electric bike down in a small south UK town, it's crazy just now. On Deliveroo only, normally a 1.2 - 1.4 boost and I ride between 6pm and 9pm 3 or 4 evenings a week, averaging £15.00 p/h and 20 miles. I love it.
You can get a great view from Greenwich and there's a huge field to chill out on

There's no way a pharmacy company, even the largest pharmacy company in the UK, sees any sense in paying rent for what the rent would now be for that location under the sign, one of the most famous spots in the entire city, AND one of the few famous places where you could have a shop (you're not exactly allowed to build a shop outside the Palace or Parliament)
Why don't they rent it out to Apple or something though? I'm sure they'd pay WAY more per month to have that location... 🤔

I do DoorDash and UberEATS in the US. If we get to a restaurant and can't complete the order for whatever reason Doordash gives us half pay (so half the amount the whole order paid) and UberEATS gives $3.00. You did half the work, you should be paid for it since it's not your fault you couldn't complete the order!
What do you mean " done half the work" ??
The delivery job means to pick up food from a restaurant and drop off to customer. If a delivery driver goes to a restaurant and then cancels the order, that doesn't help anyone, nor does it get the food closer to the customer.
And once cancelled, it means the platforms need to send another driver to travel to the restaurant location and pick it up. And it's not like another driver will magically appear if another driver cancels the order.

I wait three minutes before I cancel a order if its rushhour. No time to waste on stores that make me wait, if only two let me wait ten minutes Id miss a whole 5 to 10 euro minimum. I have a. couple restaurants I stay close at and easily churn out 20 Euro a hour
I use an ebike like you btw, and switch batteries at home, upgraded it so it goes a lil faster so I can earn more.

Not to be that guy, but it's not pronounced "mawl" as in 'Shopping Mall', it's pronounced mah-l, rhyming with Cal or Gal.
That's because Mall as in Shopping Mall is different to the Mall used for the name of the street.

So u gave the order first and then ask the pin? I always ask the pin first when they open the door and when confirmed then i gave the order. Because what u are doing is like giving alcohol first and then asking for a ID. You have to ask the pin first its better
No. The customer is instructed to give you the pin AFTER they been handed the food. Otherwise in certain situations the driver could enter the pin and steal the food

also good to know if the customer cant show the pin because he have not his phone, he can give the last 4 numbers of his phone, this also work. One time somebody else ordered for the customers and she could not reach him in that case ask the last 4 phone numbers

This is misleading. Your experience isn't THE experience. There are too many factors to account for to say one Rider's experience is the 'true reality'.
The reality from an experienced rider is that Deliveroo are doing their best to accomodate legal slavery. If you have a family. Please, please heed my warning. GET A REAL JOB.

Its so Uber can confirm the order has been delivered. Its completely randomised, some orders require it others don't :)

They also seem to require a code on your next order if for example your previous delivery had any issues you reported, such as damaged or missing part of order etc
